IMU-MPC

Very good academics and sports but the help or facilities we need is not given to us when we need it and the organization is not supportive. The director we need must be supportive and should understand us like Yogesh shah sir was the best director of IMU.

The course is very good for the Marine field and the structure is good the research the lab the lectures were nice and smooth not hectic but the practicals were at all not hectic and exam preparation leave is very helpful for students and the fall in is very useful for many students and the conductors of exam are good too.

Basically the placement totally depends on the director and the companies too. The director Y. C shah Sir made 100% placement when they were the director they pushed our limits helped us and treated us like their own children. The college in toady's condition is hanging in the hands of the director,if he wants he can request companies to come and take students they require.

The main Event in the college is in PRAYAAN fest,this fest holds the most times our college made the names in other colleges.The second event is Brinicle this event is held by DG shipping in our college. PRAYAAN is one of the most largest event in the Maritime field. I participated in most of the events and won in two of them.

Fees structure is quite a bit of manageable it is not expensive or feasible it is I between of both. Hostel fees - 75000 Mess fess - 35000 Course fees -25000 Caution deposit-20000 Tuition fess - 75000 Study - 10000 Total : 225000 per year (without caution deposit)

The scholarship is offered by the UNIVERSITY not by the college. If you score in the top 25, first 9 get 75000 scholarship, 1st in IMU 100000 rest of the scholars gets 50000. Education loans are provided by the banks with interest and then we will pay them back when our course is over.

The Gender ratio is very very worse,240 male students 4 female students is 60:1 The workshop is good but the equipments and the engine are not so good,there are some cultural events but it need to be improved. The Gender and other things described above do not affect any student in the campus.

Then hostel is quiet good bit he wifi does fill the needed requirement in all the rooms the speed is slow and the rooms are nice. There is no T.V in the hostel government is paying the college for the bills but they are not providing the TV. No canteen,no basketball courts,free space is not been utilized,the payments is not given on time.

Yes they are very helpful they help us to get a picture of the outside world,how easy or hard it is going to be on the basis of the skills and qualifications and experience you have on this field. Seniors always guide us to the right way and prepare us for the upcoming task,they are very supportive and like a friend to us.

First the basic need was to get more than 60 % in 12th board then to get minimum 60 marks in PCM, then to get more than 65 in English subject. Next step IMU-CET the first step to IMU clear it then the merit list will decide the rank you stand in the country this exam is all over India ,so I got rank 4028 then the merit list will decide which college you need three were there Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata. Then the medical by DG approved doctor Then the documents verification,and the fees of the government colleges were less than the private so it made me easy to chose the colleges and Mumbai was selected for me.

The faculty is well versed in their particular subject and they teach definitely well except for only one teacher Bhide Sir. All the teachers are good in communication with the students and the practicals are very well managed. The swimming coach is very supportive and the faculty is very good in interaction with students and they make it more easy to understand the basic knowledge.
