Course Curriculum Overview
interest in merchant navy made me join this college. and one can become a good Mariner if passed from this college. one thing they can improve is practical teaching cause most of the time the simulator wasn't working.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is paid per semester. Total fees was 2,20,000 /- in which 15000 was hostel fees and 5000 was caution fees and rest was the overall course fees and everyone has to pay same fees. there's no scholarship in maritime Universities.
Campus Life
they tend to celebrate every festival and also held an annual sport event and an annual talent event. and one can access any type of book from the Library. every classroom has a projector so it's easy to understand the practical knowledge.
Hostel Facilities
each room has 4 people in it and around 400+ people was there in our hostel. meal is okayish because of the quality wasn't up to the mark. you have to apply for the hostel while admission and if you want to apply for a pg, there's many pg around the campus area.
Admission
i only applied for this college cause it was best among all as per the reviews. for admission you got to clear the IMUCET with a good rank and accordingly you'll have the option to select which college you want to go
Faculty
teacher to student ratio would probably be 1:15 and they were very friendly and approachable. our maths teach miss shoba ma'am is the best because of her nature. and least liked would be our HOD because he was strict. there were 2 monthly exams before semester exams and they were pretty average because everything was from course related and one can easily solve .
