MAIT REVIEW

So thing is that this is one of the best Colleges of GGSIPU. But it's location indeed is pain in the ass. Firstly you have to reach rithala metro station and then you can take tuk tuk aur cab for another 5-6 km.

In my opinion curriculum is as fine as should be. tbh it's almost identical to other university's curriculum. almost first three months of every semester you're free you don't have so much to do but in other half semester you have your examinations(3) and can't forget about countless number of assignments.

Placements for CS and IT are pretty good almost 80-90% students got placed in companies and there are some good product based companies too if you are smart enough you can get place in PBC. and for other branches placement are not even decent.

MAIMS FEST - feb MAIT FEST - MARCH And there are countless number of conference and there is also havan kind of thing but idk when that happen. Well there is no so much celebration in College. This College lies in outskirts of delhi I think that's why there is not so much celebration.

Tution fees is about 78000 And university fee is about 40000. And in first year you have to deposits a security fee about 5000. Which will be return to you once you graduated. And if you also want books from College there is 5000/ fees for whole course.

So there is no scholarship available from College side but all the national scholarship like EWS scholarship etc. and delhi govt. backed scholarships are applicable. And College is also supportive for loan applicants.

There is so much things to do beside study in this there is almost 15- 20 societies available for which you can apply I mean you can be wtever you want to be here. and there is nice atmosphere for sports. There's also a sport fest named uddane.

Hostel infrastructure is good there's a nice mess available and all basic commoditeies too but hostel is kind of expensive it costs about 150000 per anuum. but hostel is situated inside College campus so it's too beneficiary for hostlers.

There is no thing like senior junior interaction not even a bit. If you genuinely want to keep in touch with the seniors you gotta join a society. And there is a society which annunaly organized a meet of alumani with current batches.

Students can take admission in btech directly through jee. But I took admission in 2nd year through lateral entry exam. firstly we have to give ipu leet exam(only for diploma holders) and result came out which shows our rank and then we have to apply for counciling and if you're lucky enough then you can take admission in MAIT.

Faculty is just fine. Some teachers are pretty nice and know how to be a good teacher but some teachers ughh. I even some time think how they were able to become a teacher. But overall mostly teacher are nice and well educated and they know how to teach others.
