Overall it was a pretty good experience in the College I got to learn a lot of things from my faculty, the seniors, the juniors one problem in the College was with the administration that being it a govt College the administration was very slow.

Course Curriculum obeys the standard engineering pattern similar to the one being followed in every premium engineering institute all over India. Exam structure consists of 3 exams in one semester:- 1. Minor 1 examination (within a month of the beginning of the semester) 2. Minor 2 examination (after a month of minor 1 examination) 3. Major examination (at the end of the semester).

Our College has many top rankings in placements. The students have been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided into dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach our College to hire students for internships.

TechNITi, the annual techno-managerial festival of our institute was launched in the academic year 2006-07 with an objective to enhance the scientific temperament of students through various activities. Utkansh is the annual cultural cavalcade of NITJ, recognized as one of the greatest and grandest cultural festivals of North India, and is entirely organized by the NITJ students’ association.

Full remission of the Tuition Fee for General & OBC students whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum. Remission of 2/3rd of the Tuition Fee for General & OBC students whose family income is between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh per annum.

National E-Scholarship Portal (NSP) The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, invites applications for the National Scholarship for Higher Education for ST students for the year 2015-2016 (Fresh) from Meritorious ST Students from 158 Top Class Institutes and for renewal case from 213 institutes.

To encourage the students to display their extra-curricular skills that would promote the healthy holistic development of the student. To arrange competitions like elocution contests, essay writing, book review giving them an opportunity for self-expression. To incorporate speech delivery enhancement activities.

There are Ten Boy’s Hostels and Three Girl’s Hostels. The facilities of the reading room, indoor games, washing machines, etc. are available in each hostel. Internet facility is provided in most of the hostels. Other facilities like geysers, water purifiers, and water coolers are provided in all the hostels.
