Positive remarks include high end facilities, good infrastructure, good placements and internships, good extra curricular activities, good alumni network. Negetive remarks include higher amount of fees.
Course Curriculum Overview
I studied xomputer science engineering. It has all the basic courses available with facilitt of minor specialization also. Course is good and keeps updating every four years. Exam pattern includes internals, finals and practicles.
Placement Experience
Every year the placements happen where students get to apply for their dream companies and their core companies. During the placements students can apply for internships also. There are exchange groups where students get international internships also. The stipend is at par with medium paying jobs.
College Events
There are two type of fests celebrated texh fest and cultural fest. Along with these multiple university events and club activities including drama, culinary, social work, photography etc keep happenig regularly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee stucure is expensive. For computer science it is 300000 per year. This includes facilities such as AC classrooms, medical consultation, laptops, library access, sports academy access, theater access.
Fees and Financial Aid
The College provides scholarship for the student based on the rank they achieved in the entrance exam and their economic background. The College also provides loans from their subsidary bank if need be.
Campus Life
The facility provided are at par with any international institute. The facilities include high end labs, libraries, sports academy, clubs, workshops and apprenticeship. The facilities also include medical and entertainment.
Hostel Facilities
There are multiple types of hostel with varying facilities. There is one hostel that is built like a hotel and costs 100000. There are more number of other hostels which have great facilities and are cheaper.
Alumni/Alumna
There is a facebook and LinkedIn alumni network headed by the alumni department of the College. We regularly get updates from alumni and their work in related areas. We also get to know and work with them.
Admission
I gave the entrance exam and got a rank under 1000. Everyone who got rank upto 8000 were called for counselling on the first day, another 1000 on the second day and so on. We get to choose the brance we wanted, if available, based on our ranks in the entrance exam.
Faculty
Faculty are specialized in their own fields. Only professors are allowed to teach a class. To be a professor a person needs to be a Ph. D. Faculty is helpful in terms of career, placements, projects and future studies.
