GCEK DAYS

I missed my college life so much.No negative remarks as there is a proverb.like Past is always sweet.After college days there is not a day when we haven't thinking to get back to those college days.the coolest campus with scenic natural beauty of bhawanipatna city.Gcek days are unforgettable for me n remains still my last breathe.

I choose Mechanical Engineering as my Graduation course.rather there are 3 more courses like Computer Science, Civil, Electrical etc.With well equipped research labs my college give me all chance to prove my self in field of engineering.There were 8 semesters exams we appeared to complete the gradutaion.The exams are conducted by Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.With ecofriendly environment n senic views of this small hill town Bhawanipatna we discovered more of ourselves.Eaxams n Labs are often hectic n chilled as well.But at last we enjoyed every seconds of those days full with memories.

CTTC, Bhubaneswar.SUN CORE pvt.Ltd, Pune.Indian Navy, Mumbai, Wipro India, Bangalore.TCS, Bhubaneswar, Mitali Transformers, Bhawanipatna.Baishaly Aqua, Bhawanipatna.These were some good companies came to our college for placement.I joined CTTC for Internship in Tool Designing with a stipend of 15000 Indian Rupees per month.

The Techincal Festival of Our college is known as INSPRANO.We celebrated it once in every year.We invited other college students to took part in technical events in the fest.The Cultural Festival of our college is known as ANUGOONJ.Many star artists came to our college to perform we also took part in and enjoyed this very much.Dj Night, Star Nights are special attractions of this event.UDAAN is the management n Handlooms festival of our college & AWAHAN is the annual Sports meet event of our college.along with these all events we celebrated BISWAKARMA PUJA, GANESH PUJA, SARASWATI PUJA, ALUMNI FEST, FAREWELL CEREMONY, HOSTEL FESTS, HOLI & DEEWALI inside the college campus in a grand way.

Fee structure is very feasible, when other private colleges are charging 10 lakhs/ year course fee our college charging only 30,000/ year. Just see the difference. With many scholarship schemes it's become way more feasible. The transportation and daily life expenses are also very affordable in a small city like Bhawanipatna, where our college is located.

Prerana, Medhabruti these two are the compulsory scholarships facilitated for every student admitted in our college. Rather than this there are many private scholarships for minority and handicraft students. There are two banks inside our college campus, which are always ready to help students with financial study loans.

With 4:3 boys girl gender ratio our college have many social clubs n dramatic clubs. Robotic club, gcek social are the very known clubs of my college. now a days a meme club organised by GCEK GUNDA is very famous n between students. We celebrated n organised many social awareness camps, blood donation camps during our college days. There is a Caffe inside our college campus known as XTRA CLASS is the ultimate hangout destination of all the students.

Both Girls and Boys Hostels are there with limited seats of 2000 students capacity. Yes, Hostel Rooms are sharing as you need to stay with two other students in a single room. Hostel canteen provides delicious food, there is 24×7 electricity and water supplies for both college n hostel. Avrg rentals of 3000 a month a student need to pay to live in a hostel for both fooding n lodging.

Seniors are very cooperative & helpful.they alwys guide us n help us in our daily life events n decision makings.Alumni were alwys so sweet to share their experince with the college with us.Sagar Bhai is one of my favourite seniors who alawys guide me as a elder brother.Ankita Didi is the Beautiful senior I have as my senior sister.We alawys obeys n gave them respects.as elder brother n sisters.

After my Doploma in Engineering, I randomly appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination for Graduation Courses. The Entrance exam was really tough for me as I wasn't prepared for that much. But by the luck secured 553 all India rank and got placed in this Government Engineering college. When my friends admitted in some private colleges with maximum course fees, my college only charging me 24000 Indian rupees per year for graduation. I felt so lucky for that. So after the selection, I just travelled to Bhawanipatna, where my college is located, then I came to know some of my seniors and they help me with some easy paper work and I deposited the course fee and got admitted. That's all.

Our Head of the department faculty was Prof.Dr.BASANT MOHAPATRA sir.He was a student from IIT, Kharagpur n with 40 years of teaching n research experience.My department had 30 teachers with lab assistants.All of them were well experienced n good enough to teach us.All of the faculties were always encouraged us how to be successful in life with less mistakes.I love n miss them all n their life changing words now a days.
