Course Curriculum Overview
This College is way more strick with studies. Exams are done Annually Twice as per semester criteria and there are labs in every week and Attendance monitoring is quite strong so bunking class is a big NO.
Placement Experience
The students who have 60% Marks all through they all get to chance to sit for placements. Till now 75% eligible students have got placed and more than 35 companies visited and Top recruiters are TCS, WIPRO, CTS, IBM, MPHASIS, ITC INFOTECH, IBS SOFTWARE, MINDTREE, PERSISTENT, PROMACT, CLOUD KAPTAN, ZENSAR, ASHAHI GLASS, KEROS. Many more still to come.
College Events
in this part my College is bit lousy. Things that are celebrated are Annual Fest ARCADIA, Freshers welcome, Farewell, Techfest, Teachers Day and little something like that. Chances of sports events are very less nearly 0.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure as a Private Engineering College is very common. its like 45, 000 on an avg for upto 8 semesters but its going to be increased by some thousands soon as my College has got a Grade upgrade. so my data may not be accurate for the freshers joining here.
Fees and Financial Aid
If the annual income of the parents of the student is low then he/she can avail freeship or Tution Fee Waiver. I don't know the exact figure of that scheme so this need to be confirmed by the College Authorities.
Campus Life
Labs are done on a regular basis. Lab reports are checked regularly and after every lab A detailed viva exam is taken everyday. Each semester there is at least 12-15 weeks of classes so Be sure every lab is going to happen. In the evening a basketball coach and Football coach visits for training.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available for students who have a daily travelling time for more than 5 hours or even more, on train route students are usually advised to take pg nearby the College areas. Quality of hostel is quite good as well pg's too. Food, water available in regular time interval. I am a Daily Passenger so I haven't opted for hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Interaction with seniors are great after you get to know them and Technical fest is a great area to get in touch with the seniors. I'm currently a persuing student so I've less idea about Alumni Network.
Admission
I gave WBJEE Engineering exam, got a rank, opted for E counselling and got here by my rank. Once the counselling result is done I went to College and the College authority guided the way to admission. I was passionate about electronics so I choose ECE
Faculty
Facilities are Mixed qualified. Its very much depends upon the taste of the each student. From my perspective it was neither Bad nor Good but it will vary to everyone. So in this case I wouldn't say a lot about the quality.
