Remarks
I would say Best experience of my life till Now. college environment is good and location is also quite good. Connected by delhi metro very well. The only thing that i would like to suggest that needs improvement is just update subject structure and less burden on students of attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure is quite good, i won't say best. We have two exams in every semester 1st is mid sam and 2nd is final exam of the samester. We have 3 to 4 labs every week and labs are pretty good. I would like to say that course structure can be improved and attendance burden on students should be a little bit relieved.
Placement Experience
Placement wise i say DTU has a lots of exposure. The main reason behind that it is situated in capital of India and comes under top colleges of Delhi after iit delhi. Almost every company who visited IIT delhi also comes to DTU for placements. Half of the companies that comes for placement also take internship. Placement wise best branch in DTU is computer.
College Events
The main event of our college is "ENGIFEST". This is the cultural event of our college. You certainly going to enjoy it. The duration of Engifest is almost like more than a week. More than 100 events should have organised every year and last day is the main focus of whole week. I can't describe it completely here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
At my time in college the education fee per year was around 80000. You can easily pay that much by yourself or by having a education loan. Despite it you have to pay for hostel and mess separately. Hostel charge is around 30000 per year and mess charge is monthly around 2500.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship facility is also available in DTU for all students basis on different parameters. If you are a category student then there are more than one scholarship. Scholarship is also available for general category student basis on their family income. If you satisfy their condition then you also get refund of also more than half of your education fee.
Campus Life
For extracurricular activities you can join any society in campus. There are many societies according to your interest like dance society, photography, drama etc. Gender ratios wise i would say it is like 7:3 boys and girls respectively.
Hostel Facilities
The best part of my college life was my hostel days. If you are outsider delhi then you are 100% going to get a hostel, it is a bit difficult for delhi students to get hostel. Every year you are going to get a different room and in your 3rd & 4th year your room will be separate. In 1st & 2nd year of college you have to share room with a someone else.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't have that much interaction with my alumni but i have a great interaction with my seniors and i would say that seniors are really very helpful in every possible way. They will help you from 1st year of your college to last year.
Admission
I got admission on the basis of my rank in jee mains paper. DTU had conducted it's own counseling and i shortlisted for documents verification. After document verification my admission was complete. Admission procedure is quite simple you just have to participate in their counseling and rest of it just formal work.
Faculty
Most of the faculties are quiet good in their field and they really enjoy teaching in the class. Most of the faculties have Phd. in their specialization and have good knowledge of their field. Some professor are also very much interested in doing research.
