College Time

The college altogether is really nice but the management is a bit lathargic and negligible towards their work though the faculties are really helpful. The college in listed in top 100 institutes of the country and also accedited by NBA and AICTE.

Course is very hectic here. Lots of new la s are involved in the curriculum and the syllabus is frequently updated with the technological advancements as it is an autonomous institute. People preferring research and further studies can prefer this college as the department has many specialised faculties and the placements for my department are also very good. Recently Japanese companies have also started visiting for the campus drives.

The college does provides internships and the placements are very good. This year close to 110 people are already placed out of a batch of 180 with many core companies still lined up for the campus drive like Bosch, Capgemini and many more. There are Japanese core companies also visiting for campus drives this year through zenken, a Japanese employment company. The college also has an MoU signed with North Dakota State University for student internships and project works.

The college annual fest is celebrated for 3 days with lots of technical and cultural event. The fest is very reputed event in Bangalore as every year prominent artists are part of the fest like sunidhi Chauhan, Neha Kakkar, Armaan malik and many more. Apart from that there are various department fests and many inter branch competitions held every year.

The fees structure is very much feasible for the quality of education that is provided. Since i was admitted through COMED-K my fees structure was aa follows: College subscription fees : 35000 Tuition fees : 170000 Total annual fees of 205000

The college provides scholarships for various backward class students and also for people with good academic records. The college also gives students special concessions for students with financial instability.

The college usually organises many workshops for hands-on experience in current technologies. The gender ratio for the college is also very healthy and students have a very chilled life in the college as there is always some events going on the college. All the festivals are celebrated in the college let it be Eid or Holi.

Hostel rooms are okay with all the basic necessities like common bathrooms and toilets, a bed, almirah, table and a chair. The hostel also has a centralised TV room with vending machines fir late night snacks. The hostel rooms available are less though compared to the required numbers so students need to apply in advance.

The seniors are very helpful provided you keep in touch with them almost of them go for higher studies abroad. They can guide you the correct way and also tell you some college hacks that will be really helpful for you.

Every year Karnataka organises 2 exams i.e COMED-K and CET. I got admitted to the college through COMED-K in 2016. There you get college based on your ranks and then you have to come to the college with the allotment letter and complete the admission process.

Faculties are very knowledgeable and helpful. Most of the faculties have job experience and are also doctorate holders while many faculties are persuing their doctorates in the college. The college also has industry partners which help them to focus on various fields for further studies.
