Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a duration of 4 years with total 8 semesters 2 in each year at a 6 months of interval.The course is designed as per the upcoming or emerging new technologies and market requirements.The competitive environment within higher education makes recruitment and retention of outstanding faculty a critical issue and growing challenge.The total number and percentage of faculty with PhD are relatively higher at AOT than any other private engineering college of West Bengal.At present 35 faculty members are PhDs and 17 faculty members are pursuing PhD.Average teaching experience of the faculty is 10.7 yrs.
Placement Experience
Aot is surging ahead in placement for the last 5 years with more than 80 percent placement in all stream and this is because of the good academics and guidance that is provided over here on each and every students.Many famous and renowned companies visit every year in the college for campus recruitment process and get a good response from the students of AOT.Companys like TCS,Cognizant, Wipro are our mass recruiter.Apart from this companies like ORACLE, AMAZON,TECH MAHINDRA,AMBUJA,GODREJ also visited our campus.All the students gets a average package of 3.5 lakh per annum.
Admission
At first one need to be appear for JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM conduct by CBSE or must appear for WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAM then he or she must score good Marks in that exam to get a good rank then as per the rank he or she can take admission in our college in the required stream.
Faculty
The faculties are highly qualified here at my college with most of the faculties having done their phds and masters from renowned IIT and other famous institutes like IIEST,ISI etc.The faculties are always on time to give the lecture and there are very friendly with the students.The help the students a lot and also encourage them to do some thing creative apart from studies.There are many faculties who are associated with many companies regarding their research works.
