Not the best but a descent engineer college in bhubaneswar

i never had any bad experience with the college management although once i faced a problem while i was appearing on my semester exam because my attendance was less on classes. so one shouldn't expect any partiality drom the management. on the top they are

I have appeared in OJEE (odisha jee) entrance exam organised nationally to take admissions in colleges located in odisha. I have scored 10000rank and around 1lakh appeared. i choose this college because it's a descent college and its ranked among best 10 engineering colleges in bhubaneswar.

The course offered here are under bput boart, a national acclaimed board and affiliated by national engineering board. Faculties are good always helping and they study psychology of students.

Had a great internship experience with nalco this year. college supported the best they could. I am getting a stipend of 20000rs per year from college to complete my studies.

Placement and job opportunities are good here. companies like wipro, tcs, ibm, l&t etc come here to recruit. last year 60 of my seniors were placed in infy on a 6lpa package. 10 were placed in l&t witj 8lpa package. 5 were places on ibm with 7lpa package. and 20were placed on Wipro with 6lpa package.

Annual fest, sports meet is help on every year. Utopia, it's called. students from different colleges are allowed to compete on the competition. we have competition on almost every sports and literature stuffs. about 3000-4000 students come from different colleges to attend the fest. Celebrities also come to entertain us annual robotics meet is also held during this period.

The best thing about this college is the fee structure is very feasible and any normal student csn afford studying here. plus they offer cool scholarships to meritorious students. i am doin b. tech and annual fee is about 1.2lakh per year. 40 thousands extra if residing in hostel. transportation, library and all other fees are included and college will not disturb ever in the name of random fees. that's the thing i like about this college. the fee structure is transparent.

Don't know about loans offers by the college. but I'm getting a scholarship being a meritorious student. tje amount is 20000rs per year and is offered by the college. I also get a discount by the college being a guy ranked on best 5 of the college. I get a 50% discount on my course fees every year.

Girl and boys ratio is almost 40:60 here. students from all over india come here to study. our workshop has advanced equipments to maintain the standard. and we observe almost every major festival of every religion here. and absolutely no discrimination on bases of gender. here I'm giving an example. in most of the colleges in mechanical engineering stream very lesser girls sign up. but here we have total 120 seats in mechanical engineering and 50 of them are girls. isn't that really cool! and this ratio is high thsn a almost all other colleges around bhubaneswar. hence girls feel safe to study here. politics has absolutely zero influence here.

as i was a day scholar i never been to hostel but from my friends i know living in the hostel is awesome. they are cleaned and well managed. rhe mess food id also descent. though it's not thr best you can get, just descent. they really care about the clea

Sometimes i talk to my seniors and they always praise themselves for being a part of this college. They would recommend anyone to study here and seriously, i would.

we have 2 semesters per year. and labs are cool coz we have pretty chilled out teachers. its always fun to attend classes and labs. we have 2-3 internals in a regular semester.
