Remarks

The College should definitely work towards introducing the latest trends in College and boast it's student for trying out new challenging ecosystems with professional help from the College. Eg- e-sports, business startups, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The College being an autonomous one has a very student friendly curriculum with lots of extra curricular activities (surprisingly that offers you grades too). The exam schedule is designed by the best faculty and is very light on students and strict at the same time.

Placement Experience

3.5

Coming to placements, the College partners up with a lot of big companies to provide friendly workshops and also offers internships with stipend suitable enough to cope with the work been given. Eg- p&g came in for an internship with an avg stipend of 5000?.

College Events

4.5

The College annually hosts a variety of events. The birlotsav, pravah, etc being the major attractions. The College celebrates almost all major days like management day, banking day with workshops to educate children about the global changes in terms of the respective days. The participation is very huge and also intercollegiate fests are attended by the College on a large scale

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible as the College holds an 'a' grade reputation and has been receiving various grants from the government to promote education in various sectors. The College comes under the star College regime too and has the biggest ncc wing in all of maharashtra.

Fees and Financial Aid

The College may or may not have been offering cash loans but they do offer the students the loan of books. Yeah, the College has one of the largest collection of books and it actively loans them out to their students for free. A two storey library with a room dedicated to research using computers is available for use to children in the library.

Campus Life

4.5

The gender ratio of the College is above good the amount of girl students in the College is much higher than the boys and the College is considered to be one of the safest Colleges in regards to matter of girl safety. The College is blessed with a principal of a very progressive attitude for his students and the staff is always ready to help the students regarding any matter whatsoever. The students are welcoming the idea of lgbtq reluctantly as they do not have any knowledge about it as and as more people are coming to know about it the tolerance level and love towards the community is on a rise.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No hostel facility is available yet. The College in constantly thriving towards creating a better learning ecosystem first which includes building a high class hostel dorm. Currently the active projects include building of a phd building which is under construction and is expected to be ready for use by 2022.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the College hosts some of the great names and they are well connected to the current College eco system. The senior students are known to have more friends in their preceeding classes rather in their own.(FUNNY.). The College has zero tolerance towards ragging or any such offences towards the children.

Admission

I have been fond of commerce and science but due to my grades in ssc exams i chose to take up commerce. I had to wait for the second merit list in order to get an admission in my College because the cutoffs were high. And my ugc admission was granted on the basis of in house quota.

Faculty

4

The faculty is the best you'd find for a College very friendly professors who are equally scholars in their fields (apart from a few old teachers who are very good but don't want to let that grip of discipline loosen even a bit)

Placement Experience:

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
