Mesmerizing Memories

Though the infrastructure is big but it can be improved and various other cultural things can be introduced that would be made compulsory so that everyone has to prepare because nowadays its very important for students to come forward and interact. When choice is given we prepare easy process so some necessary events should be made compulsory so that it helps in our future.

My college comes under MAKAUT affiliation.The course structure is really good.Recently again it has changed for freshers.The subjects are arranged in such a way that a subject in this semester supports the other in next semester.The exams are frequent here, we have regular class internals.The regular lab days are bit hectic because our lab assistants won't leave us until we have shown the correct observations or correct programs and labs would go on 2hrs.The non lab days are also hectic sometimes 9:40 to 5:00 sometimes occupied with just an hour of lunch.

Placements and Jobs are opportunities are good here.Companies come for internships also, Informatica,Persistence, Sopra steria,Itc infotech, laursen and tubro infotech, Tcs,Mindtree, ZS associations,Cognizant, Virtusa,Cerner,Keross,Thought Works, Infinite, CGI,Gyansys,Nine Leaps,Tata Communications,Amazon,Inspira Software.

We have 1. Electronic innovations is conducted by ECE department in which different departments can make working models in specific technological fields. 2.Leganzza fest, is organized and coordinated by 3rd year students different events take place from technical to cultural.Codiac,Treasure Hunt,Open mic,Rowdies and many more. 3.Vollyball Tournament 4.Cricket Tournament 5.Football Tournament 6.Kasar, dance,skit, open mics, extempore 7.Robotics Robo wars.Students can participate in any of the events.There aren't any restrictions.

In every 6 months approximately 48,000 is charged Tuition Fee -> 43000.0 Examination Fee -> 1200.0 Finishing school Programme ( Per Sem ) -> 4000.0 Risk Coverage -> 592.0 This is the layout of ( July'19 to Dec'19) It changes in few hundreds approximately per sem.

College particularly doesn't provide any scholarship.Government scholarship though can be availed.The scholarship provided by different states like bihar state, west bengal, and scholarship provided to minorities.College doesn't provide specific scholarship.Only under certain circumstances if the student is financially weak and faces death of parent only then scholarship is provided.

Gender ratio is equal and participation is equal from both sides. Workshops we have for different departments.Cultural societies are there which conducted various vocal activities, dance,painting, drawing and various other art forms.Educell is a society which works on entrepreneurship.Robotics which helps in forming robos,teaching the working of robos,war is conducted. We work a united student body no specific division is there in us.

Hostels for girls we have one hostel Sarojini Girls Hostel Rooms are in sharing of two We have two buildings Old and a New Quarterly payment of 10000 is to be made Boys have there hostels for accommodation 1.JCBose 2.APJ These two are for senior students (2nd,3rd,4th) 3.Vivekananda Only for 1st year students Payment is approximately equal Mess fee is paid separately according to monthly consumptions (These hostels are Inside the campus) Outside the campus, We have pgs costing 6000 approximately per month including fooding Sharing available as per requirement.

Senior students are very helpful.We consult them whether it be during campusing or other festivals.They are all guided by our senior students.They help us in whichever way they can.When I came first day to this college I was afraid to face senior students but when we had our freshers I found they were very friendly.What to study,what not to study, which topics are important in exams, how should our cv,resume, how to prepare for companies.The seniors with I had interacted helped me a lot.

To get admission in bengal colleges we had to specifically go through an examination "WBJEE".Once we got our ranks we were asked to choose through the colleges with the respective departments we wanted in those colleges.After this we got a respective college from what we had choosen, then a finalization process.Let suppose I got an college but I want to upgrade my college so we were given dates and were called in IEM Kolkata (an allotted center for this upgradation process ),where we could request for upgradtion in branch or department.This went for 3 rounds.Finally I got my college. Admission process was genuinely interactive.Teachers were seating in every classroom, we were asked to sit in classrooms where a teacher guided us through the whole admission form.If i'll say admission process one would imagine long long queues but no we were sitted properly and guided properly both for college admission as well as hostel admission.

My college faculties are highly qualified and they are interested in not only teaching but in other extra curriculum also.They are extremely punctual and strict at times but the thing I love most about my college is that faculties here are not just our teachers they are like our mentors.We could discuss anything related to our personal life if its bothering us.Even they help us with our hostel matters.During our placement season they use to constantly call us and motivate us sometimes scold us but they didn't just leave us giving just instructions.Many of our faculties set an ideal example for us,one of our faculty ensures that the extra food in hostels in not wasted and not just thrown away he comes every day and collects the food and distribute it to the needy ones, one of our faculty is working on saving water and generating power through it.If we have not understood something we could just go and ask or they even arrange separate doubt classes for us.
