The campus is very supportive and there good environment for study. People who are done with there UG courses prepare for PG entrance exams in very competitive environment and there is facility of library which is air conditioned and reading room where you can concentrate on your studies fully.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is one of the reputed degree course.Its a five and half year course which includes 1 year of compulsory internship.There are total 19 subject in entire MBBS there will be 9 semester exams and 4 university exams.You have brighter future after that.After MBBS you can opt for higher studies by choosing MD/MS course through NEET-PG entrance exam.
Placement Experience
After four and half year you have to do 1year of compulsory paid internship which can be done through this college of if you wish you can join any other college.currently DMCH provides 15,000 per month for internship.
College Events
Saraswati puja is the biggest event that is celebrated with huge enthusiasm and full involvement of campus apart from this college foundation day celebration is done in the month of march.There are cultural program organized on these events and also during saraswati puja celebration professional artist are called to perform on the stage.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As darbhanga medical college is a government college and is controlled by government of bihar fee structure is highly feasible.Average middle class family is capable of affording the annual fee even without taking loan from banks. Fees and Financial Aid
Different scholarship are provided under different schemes of state or government of india.If ypu you belong to st/sc/obs category state government provides you approx 12,000 annually scholarship and if you belong to north east state you state will provide you the scholarship.You can also apply for loan of upto 4 lakhs under student credit card scheme of government of bihar.
Campus Life
There are almost 1:2 ration of girls and boys which also varies batch wise.Every year sports week is organised in the campus in the month of January in which many sports are organized and winner of all sports are awarded during college foundation day celebration.Apart from that campus organizes farewell party for the batch leaving the campus and freshers party for the new batch.
Hostel Facilities
This college have abundant infrastructure available for students staying here.There are total 12 hostels available out of which 9 hostels are for boys while 3 hostels are for girls.Both single and double rooms are available in the hostel with common bathroom in the hostel there is mess and common room with television.
Alumni/Alumna
Completing MBBS degree without the help of senior is very tough job.Seniors of this campus are very supportive and they will guide you in every step of MBBS life.They will tell you what to study and how to study.Apart from that you will get many parties from senior which great.
Admission
You have to give NEET-UG entrance exam according to the marks that you secured in exam you will be alloted college in counselling.In the counselling you will be alloted college in which you will have to take admission.At the time of admission yous documents will be verified and you will have to spend approx 30,000 money.
Faculty
Faculty are well trained in there respective fields with good teaching experience.Some of them are excellent some are average and some are below average.In the last tje only this that matters is how much self study you do and how much help you take from your seniors.
