SVPCET comes under RTMNU University which has a semester pattern undergoing by CBS. The college itself conducts per semester two sessional exams which are of 3-3 units each as University has a total of 6 units per semester. And attendance is must marks are reserved for it and sessional marks play a vital role in internal marks. In short academic plays a vital role in earning internals in SVPCET.

Placement depends on the company as well as T&P department in the college. We students have to try our best in open campus placement in Nagpur or other than Nagpur or by placement consultancy sites. College is bothering about students' placement but not caring about which company they just need students placement in whichever company organizing drives. Either BPO, TPO , sales, etc.

There is a Technical event conducted in college named as TECHNEX(tries to have robot event and every technical event) and cultural event as INSIGHT(tries to cover sports, dance, bands, etc). And each department conduct it's own respective events (Technical as per department) . Overall it has clubs of college to have every activity on college premises. Celebrity visit is also planned and blood donation is also planed by the club in college.

As I belong to OBC I have to pay 58,300/- OPEN students have to pay 107000/- NT students have to pay 10,000/- ST & SC have to pay 0/- And for especially OPEN students there is a TFWS scheme by which if they get admission through it they have to pay 10,000/- as there fees.

OBC scholarship is opted by me which I have to pay 58,300 as my fees in college and other fees are paid by gov. And there is a scheme like a scholarship and a freeship. The scholarship is for those whose annual income is less than 1 lakhs. And freeship for more than 1 lakh.

Labs are good with all equipment. Sports are conducted like the intercollege events and of University sports too. Competition comes under an event conducted by the college . Extracurricular have campus training and classes are organized for preparing ourselves for increasing verbal and oral skills.

Yes, we have an organized meet by alumni of our college they interact with us and give guidance regarding foreign education and awareness about all exams and jobs related issues and market status of jobs.

I got admission by the MHT-CET entrance exam conducted by DTE. I got 77 marks which were average and as per our mentality we tried to fill the DTE admission CAP round form. I filled the form and I got tried to cover each and every college as per rank in Maharashtra. An I got st. Vincent Pallotta College of engineering and technology which is in Nagpur under rashtrashant tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. I opt for electronics and telecommunication engineering and I was having an interest in it. The college has the following branches : 1) MECHANICAL ENGINEERING 2) ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING 3) ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING 4) COMPUTER ENGINEERING 5) INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ENGINEERING 6) CIVIL ENGINEERING

College timing is 9 AM to 4 PM followed by a lunch break of 1 hour from 1 PM to 2 PM. And has 10min break at 11 AM. The total number of lectures is 6 of 1hr. each. 4 lectures before break and two after the break. Practical is also conducted as per the scheduled timetable of the college and respective departments. And in this 6 lecture, there are practical as well as a tutorial for problem-solving held by faculty of the department. And assignments and tests are also conducted in between for clarifying doubts.
