Delhi University is about fun. The atmosphere is north campus is electrifying.

Entrance Preview

Through CBSE Class XII result. I scored 93% in exam and got admission in 3rd cut off list. Earlier i took admission in Eco (Hons ) in first cut off.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is standard through out Delhi University. The syllabus is in sync with curriculum of professional courses like CA and CS. Faculty is ok. Focus is more on getting professional degrees rather than graduation. Although there are avenues for extra cirricular activities.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't attend any internship programme as i was doing CA. Although few of my freinds did got job from college campus in good companies incl Google at attractive packages.

College Events

When you join, we get interaction with seniors. After few months, fresher party is held and then annual fest is held firstly at college level and also at university level. Similar fest is being held at college hostel.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was very feasible at that time. Hardly 6k for a year at a time when such fee is being charged monthly in schools and ofcourse there are scholarship available for the needy students.

Ya college do offer scholarhip facilities for deserving and needy students. Few of my know people has availed the scholarship.

Campus Life

Delhi University is about fun. The atmosphere is north campus is electrifying. There are lots of opportunities for extracirrucular activities. Class rooms hours are flexible so that you can focus on other activities also

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is superb especially the experience you get to involve woth so many peopple. Although mess food was pathetic.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

During first few days in college, seniors come to you and start interacting with you. Then it is upto you how many friens you make. It is always best to have as many friends and senior always help you in your studies, and in other things.

Exam Structure

There was exams conducted twice in a year at that time. One was at college level and then at university level. However, structure has now changed.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

MY COLLEGE LIFE

Main exam was CUET. We should crack it with high marks... More than 98 percentile to get into the prestigious north campus of Delhi University. My college KMC comes under north campus and I'm really happy. I chose this college because it is one of the best for my course. It ranked 3rd in whole india for political science. I wanted it admission process is easy. After cuet results are published u have to fill csas portal. And you can see your rank and college allotted in the first round. The. Document verification. Afte that you will get gmail from the college and university. Cut off is almost 99 percentile in north campus. It's really difficult to get in. For humanities and commerce students choose DU.
