Remarks
Overall college is very good in terms of education purpose and helps nourish students skills. Also, the faculty is co operative with students to provide them the best Information and help in their overall development and grooming. College canteen is somewhat not up to the mark. Still, students can bring their own food for the nourishment.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is detailed and covers many aspects in terms of both theory and practical. Semester based system for exams. So, exams are held at interval of 6-months. Regular classes and practical depending upon the time table. Assignment and tests held regularly for evaluation and internal assessment.
Placement Experience
College offers placement and the placement cell officials are very keen to provide students with good opportunities. Internship scenario is based upon department. Students needs to have HOD's permission to join as intern and stipend may or may not be given as most internship are knowledge based and does not aim to get money in return. Lately, companies visiting our college includr chegg India, multifit, planetspark, college dunia among many others. Payment is usually around 3LPA.
College Events
A list of events are celebrated in the college including SPARDHAA- sports event, Karvaan- annual college cultural event, Diwali Mela event, prayas- eco club event and departmental event of various departments of the college. Other than this, various other departmental events like quiz, games, talks and seminars occurs regularly.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Being a government college the fee is feasible. Fee is to be given separately for both semesters. Each semester fee includes two parts: the course fee and the exam fee. Overall fee vary depending upon course and year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholarship Available at time to time. Information about any scholarship is available from the faculty members. They first ask to fill out a form, then submit necessary documents and a small interview is taken. After that if you are selected then the required amount is transferred to the bank account provided by student.
Campus Life
The college is an all girls college. Various societies operate for various works like music, dance, drama, environment, NSS, heritage club, traveling club, etc. All laboratories are well equipped with training non teaching/technical staff. Annual Freshers and farewell parties are organised in college. College focuses more on education and does not indulge much into unnecessary political issues.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful and supportive. They try their best to provide the juniors with required information and work including previous years notes and guidance about subject. They also work with juniors for various events organisation and tell them about do's and Sony's.
Admission
Firstly, we need to register for university's admission portal on official website with required details. Then, the university of Delhi publish cut-off list which have percentage marks of 12th class varying depending upon college and course. Due to interest in research field when the cut-off list matched my marks I went to the college with required original documents (list given on DU's official website) along with 2 photocopies of each document and verified them through college admission volunteers. Then, upon approval the fee was paid on the admission portal and admission was done.
Faculty
Faculty is all very well educated. Most are PhD. Fellows and professors with apt skills and qualifications for teaching. Faculty barely takes any off and neither allow students to skip classes. Faculty members are regular in taking classes as well as practicals and provide students with all knowledge about the subject.
