As a student one of the most annoying thing for a student will be the attendance system in the college which keeps your parents or guardians aware about your performance via SMS. The best thing would be all the fun and enjoyment which we have in our college life
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is currently under the Bangalore University (it is expected that college will become autonomous i. e. , deemed to be university by 2021) and the final exam structure depends upon Bangalore University's decisions. Apart from this the college conducts Internal Exam & Model Exam respectively. College offers courses in Science, Commerce and Arts. It also has Post Graduation Courses. A lot of research works and field studies are expected by the students depends in which course you are.
Placement Experience
Mr Stalin and Mr Mickey are the placement officers of the college. Placement Assistance provided in the college are pretty much good almost 90% of the students are given placement from the college rest 10% of students take up higher education in the same college. The college timings 8am to 2pm are such that it encourages students to take up internship while studying. Companies like TCS, TITAN, MAHINDRA, WIPRO ETC. College is situated near to Electronic City and Bommasandra Industrial Area so many near by firms and companies come for campus placement to this college.
College Events
RAZMATAZ - NATIONAL LEVEL CULTURE FEST ATHENIA - INTER COLLEGE SPORTS MANY NATIONAL LEVEL SEMINARS College organises a hell lot of cultural and sports related events i am not able to recall the name of those.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee in this college is very much feasible to be exact for Bachelor of Commerce i paid around 45,000 per year for 3 years. It's comparitively less when compared to other colleges nearby. So many students from Hosur & attibelle come to this college for the lower fees structure offered by this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
DSAT exam is conducted every year when students who scores highest is provided scholarship. Apart from this all the government aided funding also can be availed from this college like SC/ST scholarship.
Campus Life
NCC, KCD & NSS are one of the best facilities available in this college if your keen about going to New Delhi and attending national level camps & meeting the PM & President of India meet LT SAMPATH KUMAR are NCC ANO of this college.
Hostel Facilities
No i haven't opted for the hostel facility, but the college offers Hostel FACILITIES TOO AND there canteen facilities too for the student's who stay in hostel I'm not aware about the charges for hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year the college contacts it's alumnus for a get together where students from different batches come and share their experiences and help thier juniors in thier careers. Even the college staff are very much supportive to the alumni's of the college
Admission
The admission process in the college can be explained in 3 stages. 1. Counciling - There will be 2 staff who will first review your application form and provide you details and enlighten you about various courses available for your stream and help you in deciding your career. 2. Interview - After the counciling you will be sent to the principal's office for a personal interview with the principal himself. 3. Payment - Pay the admission fees in full or part payment whichever will be feasible for you. Done now you are a DESALITE from the next second.
Faculty
The faculties of the college are gem of a person's to name a few ANO of NCC Lt Sampath Kumar are is the most reputed and respected person in the entire campus NCC is one of the strengths of the college. Other Faculties who are ever much qualified and interesting in the commerce department are Mr Johnson, Mr Dhurva, Mrs Jesinta Mathew, Mrs GeetheMenon, Mr Lavin, and others are one of the best faculties the commerce department whom I personally adore a lot. Most of the faculties here are PHd holders and we'll qualified.
