All in all, the college has exceeded my expectation and is really transforming my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses taught are experiential and we are taught how to apply our knowledge into practical situations which we might face in the industry in the future. The modules taught are very helpful in training students for future careers and experiences.
Placement Experience
Since we have not yet gotten an internship through the college due to the Covid-19 lockdown situation, I am yet to experience the internships or placements offered.
College Events
We have all kinds of events which entertain us and make us feel proactive. Students not only participate in various events but also we are the ones who organise these as part of our student club duties. Being part of ExCoLearn Pvt Ltd, a student-run company, I myself have contributed to the organisation of several events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Apart from the tuition fee we also have to pay for a hostel, mess facility, application charges, a security deposit and a CSR fund deposit. Overall, the college fee is high compared to other colleges but it is only so because the standard and quality of education are relatively superior.
Fees and Financial Aid
UBS offers a scholarship to females of RS. 50000 which you can automatically avail as you apply to the college. I have not opted for any other scholarship apart from this.
Campus Life
We have amazing extracurricular activities and the college constantly keeps us informed by organising workshops and sessions by leading CEOs from around the world. As for college life, we have a party organised almost every month which ensures we enjoy our stay at UBS.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are quite modern and keep us entertained. We have spacious rooms, a gym, a recreation room and a TV and a grand piano in the main lobby. Apart from that, we can play many outdoor sports on campus including football, cricket, basketball, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
I have not interacted with any alumni but UBS does have an alumni network which keeps the college connected to them.
Admission
The admission process had a few steps including document submission, personal interview and the UBS entrance exam called UBSAT. After these steps were completed, I was offered to visit the campus for a tour and given a brief about what to expect from the college.
Faculty
The faculty is very good, especially the teaching staff for BBA. The professors are not just knowledgeable and experienced in the industry in their respective fields, but are also welcoming and accommodative. They ensure that students understand each and every part of the curriculum.
