Overall its a good college to be in. The study culture, fashion culture, everything a teen needs in his/her college.
Entrance Preview
I had initially planned to go for mass communication course and since there aren't too many options outside DU, I felt Amity had a good name and I filled in the form for the same. But later I realised I had a good aptitude for computers and it was too late for any engineering entrance, I applied for BCA in Amity itself. The interview wasn't too much a thing to worry about. They were basic computer questions and I did well and got in.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is pretty good since they have some really nice lab facilities and subjects like Behavioural science and foreign business language do really make a difference. Also the english course really helps your communication skills and helps you become confident and good with presentations.
Internships Opportunities
No they don't provide internship. I cannot comment further on this and will just have to fill in spaces so it allows me to submit this form.
Placement Experience
It really depends on the batches. My batch had quite some oppotunities and most of all got job offers. Whereas the batch after us did not get many job oppotunities. I for example got a very good job in Wipro where they are also sponsoring me to get a mtech degree from bits pilani.
College Events
The most celebrated event of Amity was the Amity Youth Fest. Every person in delhi ncr wishes to get a pass to that fest. It is one of the best college fests in delhi ncr.The 2nd fest was Sangathan - the sports fest. It was an intra university event and you could see some real sports actions in there.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Amity is an expensive university. Rather VERY EXPENSIVE University. I cannot further comment on this and will just need to fill in spaces to enable submission of the form.
Fees and Financial Aid
They have quite some scholarship. If you score above 90 percent in 12th, you get a 100% scholarship and you can get it continued by scoring good regularly.
Campus Life
Amity has one of the best crowd. The best looking guys and the hottest girls. No political scene there. You can see people from very high society and people who studies hard and got the scholarship. Sports is very active in amity and you have quite a lot of options.
Hostel Facilities
I did not stay in the hostel or pg, but from what I hear the hostel facilities were good.Further to this I cannot comment anymore
Exam Structure
Exam structure was fine. It was not too hectic and was rather fun sometimes. We have the mid semesters and the end semesters. Since they are divides in 50+30+20 structure, it gets very easy to score. 10 marks are for assignment and 5 marks for attendance
Faculty
The faculties are pretty qualified and they know what they are doing. On top of that they are always into some research papers which gives a student chance to help them and get exposure. They are also good with students and know how to control the crowd.
