Average College

The college should think students as first priority and consider them as a family. The college must train students for interviews and placements. There is no awareness of placement in the college. And most importantly try to bring companies to the particular campus rather than central placement.

If I go with the curriculum our college was affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) so the syllabus and exams were planned and conducted according to university (SPPU). I am from the computer department so the labs were properly infrastructured in our department. But the only problem is with the university exams. The course syllabus is a semester pattern not yearly pattern as mostly happens with medical students. So the exams are conducted semester wise including in-semester exams. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate. It's really tough for scoring distinction in SPPU exams. Even some people say it's the toughest university in India.

The placements are held centrally at the main campus in Pune. There is a huge partiality among the students of main campus and other campus students. The average salary range is 3. 4 LPA. The mass recruiters are Accenture and Cognizant.

The events conducted are Techtonic and Spandan. Techtonic is fun event. Various games, workshops, and many more are conducted. Spandan is festival of music and drama. Many students from the campus as well as outside the campus participate in these events.

Fee structure is feasible it's arround 1 Lakh. Not as in deemed universities like 4 Lakhs. Many government schemes and scholarships are available. And the fees is as per academic year not as per semester.

There is no Loan service provided by college. But you can avail it from banks. Various government schemes like EBC (only for General caste category) is available in which 50% of tution fee is given back to you. Scholarship for OBC CASTE category. If candidate belong to SC, ST, NT. etc the fees is low as ranges from 7000 to 15000.

Sports is the best happening activity in the campus. Campus consists of 1 football ground, 1 cricket ground, 1 basketball ground, 1 volleyball ground. Many tournaments are held in an academic year like inter College, inter hostel, inter campus etc. Coaches are available for free of cost.

The Hostel fees is as follow:- 1) Four Sharing :- Rs. 50,000 2) Dormitory :- Rs. 30,000 There is no two or one sharing. The mess food fees is included in the above fee structure. The food is average.

The alumni was fabulous. The seniors are still in contact of college and as well as students. They even help in projects and preparations for interviews. Every year there is an alumni meet. Many of them get reunite.

I got myself into college in 2015. The admission process was done through the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The process is not that complicated as people think, you just need to go to an ARC center nearby your respective location. The ARC centers will be established by DTE in every major city. Every candidate who belongs to Maharashtra / neighboring states needs to follow the below process for the admissions in the colleges in Maharashtra. I will describe the admission procedure which I followed in 2015 for my admission. Firstly I went to the ARC center near my home and got myself registered as a candidate for admission by verifying the marksheets and all the valid documents required. Then the second step was to fill the college preference list on the online portal of DTE. Then after 4 to 5 days, the results will be announced and the preferred college name will be given as per the merit list. The third step was if you wish to take admission in the college which DTE alloted then you have to go to the college and pay the fees with some formalities of filling forms. And if you do not want to take admission in that college which was provided by DTE then you can choose to wait for the next round result. Hence there will be 3 rounds in total. And I chose my college by seeing the scenic beauty of nature. Guys please don't take admission by just seeing the college environment.

The faculty is average. Mostly the faculty is M. tech qualified and very few are PhD. There is no specialised teacher in any specific domain. The internal marks are given by the teachers and there is a huge partiality among the students.
