Good college overall. They try providing you what they can and ultimately you need to grab the opportunity to make the most out of it. Resources are same for everyone, only difference is who utilizes it the most.
Course Curriculum Overview
I did my Bachelor's of technology in computer science stream. The college follows Rajasthan Technical University curriculum which is pretty much aligned to what is expected. There are mid terms and university exams. There are 8 semesters in 4 years of course and each semester comprises of 3 mid terms which are internal tests and one semester exam which is on university level.
Placement Experience
Though there are ample of opportunities provided, most of the placements are for CS, IT or ECE for other branches core companies placement opportunities are negligible and most of the companies approach you with mediocre payscale. But talking about the other colleges of its cadre, it's still lot better at its records by aiming 70-80% placement.
College Events
A lot of cultural and non cultural stuff is there. Starting from freshers party, annual evcent, sports event, donation camps, placement talks, technical fairs, farewell parties. Provide good exposure by organizing and actively participating in various inter and intra college activities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is very much feasible. It is the standard structure falicitated by RTU University. So, be it any college of this cadre considering it is a private one, the structure remains same. Alongside, the infrastructure justifies it.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no such facilities provided from college end. It would be great if college does so by providing some kind of scholarship. Thought there is some quota for tuition fees wavier or to minimum rates for economically weaker sections.
Campus Life
There are computer labs, chemistry labs, physics lab, mechanical, electronics. All the labs are well equipped and have well trained staff. Apart from this, there are basketball, volleyball, cricket, badminon courts as well. Students spends leisure time here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good. Better than what I expected. First two years there are triple sharing rooms and then double sharing for next two. Quality service you'll get and food is also good. The rooms are well ventilated and clean. Cleaning maid comes daily and care takers are also there.
Alumni/Alumna
The allumini network is not much strong but college has started working on it and now even started organizing various allumini meets where people can meet, exchange thoughts, share ideas and help each other. It has a dedicated allumini panel to organize all these stuffs.
Admission
I gave RPET entrance test as a qualifying exam and filled my preference for the college's and course I desired in counselling forms. Once the counselling got done, got selected in counselling with desired stream.
Faculty
Most of the faculty are well trained and we'll cversed. Though there are some who don't bother much but still one can approach most of them and get their doubs clarified. There are lecturers, professors and lab assistants. They have good grasp on their respective subjects but again there are some who don't know the basics so on faculty, is a mix of bunch.
