A decent college in Agra!

The college is good for the Agra city and it is quite a challenge to get admission here since no. of applicants are high. The college lacks a bit on the infrastructure part but it is covered by the academics. College campus is pollution free and has lot of greenery around.

Course curriculum is vast,it covers all the aspects of and gives overall knowledge of the subjects. Course contents are in sync with the needs of current scenario. It follows a continuous evaluation system where following are used for performance evaluation: 1) class assignments ( daily) 2) home assignments 3) class test ( twice a semester) 4) external exams Marks are even allotted for attendance, extra curricular activities and discipline.

Placements are provided on campus, off campus placements are also encouraged. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Kotak Bank, Hdfc bank, Abbott, etc come for placements. Average package ranges anywhere between 3-5 lacs pa.

The college participates in inter college fests. Inter and intra faculty sports and cultural events take place in the college. The college holds one week nss camp where there are cultural events. The college takes part in the north zone youth festival which is an inter college event. Events like youth parliament also take place here.

The college offers wide variety of courses at very minimal fees, everybody can afford to study here. For all courses the fees is below 50k (for entire program) which makes the ROI quite the fees is highly affordable.

The college provide scholarships to the students with low household incomes. The scholarships are provided only if proper documents are provided regarding the same. These scholarships are funded by the college to the meritorious students.

The college gives religious freedom and it is free from any discrimination. The number of male and female students are equal rather females outnumber the males. Certified workshops are organised for the students for holistic development.

No, I didn't opt for hostel since I am a day scholar. But college provides hostel facilities for both boys as well as girls located at walking distance from the college,with facilities like mess, drinking water,plug points,etc. For those who don't prefer hostel there are Pg available near the college.

Alumni network is strong and this also helps the current students to get better opportunities. Alumni are invited to the college from time to time to enlighten the students on the actual scenario of the industry and to provide them some practical knowledge.

The college conducts an entrance exam for admission to various courses in the college so after clearing the entrance test and an interview I got admission to the college. Admission process: 1) Entrance test ( Test from already studied subject and course content) 2) Interview ( Students are also given points for the extracurricular that they did in the past provide proofs are presented. )

The faculty is highly qualified, mainly holding Ph. d and a good amount of teaching experience. They have in-depth knowledge of the subjects and convey it well to the students. The faculty is trained from the premier institutions and help students in the all round development of their skills.
