I know the curriculum is set perfectly by the college because I have also got the opportunity to study few days in ST Bedes in Shimla. Though later i dropped it and joind DEI. So if I compare the curriculum, DEI is providing and teaching better things in the course which the other college is teaching in MA, DEI is teaching the same thing in the inital years.

The course i did from the college does not require placements. But yes, in other courses like MBA, BCOM,ENGINEERING, BBA etc. campus placements happen and you do get good placements in good companies. The packages are not below 300000-400000 lakhs After my degree, I am currently working as a content writer as per my skills. i have worked with international and national businesses.

the fee strcuture was approximately 2800 rs per semester wise The college provides economical education and a premium college environment. The campus life is peaceful because it is situated away from the city life. The faculty in the college is kmowledgable and well educated.

The students in graduation have to do NSS camps where different competions are held and at the end you go get NSS completion certificate also. Painting and music competitions are also held. The college celebrates the festival of Basant in a grand manner which is open for public as well.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness. The admission process is you can fill online and offline forms where you need to may something between 500- 1000 per form. The you are called for interview round and written if your course admission procedure demands for it. The college puts list1 List 2, List 3 that you need to check in the college premise. Once selected the induction session is conducted for the batch.

I have completed both my graduation and post graduation from here and one thing I know the method of teaching is such that students know what they are being taught and no superficial knowledge is provided. Complete knowledge is imparted to the students. The faculty members have a good hand for their respective subjects. The idea of conducting CTs and QTs and giving one topic every day to submit it before the assembly the next day is the best way to keep the students busy. The aim is to keep the recently taught topics fresh in the mind of the students and make them revise what they had learnt the previous day. The fees is so economical that it can be easily affordable by everyone.

To be honest there is no night life in DEI. The college is more focussed on studies and seminars kind of thing than you usually see things happening in other colleges. Yes there are hostels and times to get in hostel is by 5pm in the evening.
