Really good college for engineering

College is of national importance and we got every facilities before any other institute in country. Infrastructure is also very good and location is very clean and green. but also very of city and strict rules for even small mistakes and due no students union sometimes we feel like we are being suppressed.

Course is very good for blooming engineering students. we have well set up labs in every department. Research sector is also very good in this college. but curriculum is bit outdated. We generally have one half of day for theory and other half for labs. Its hectic but its necessary. students in college got very good placements. This college also have a strong alumni network, which helps a lot in future.

Placement are very good in this college. Students in cse, ece, it, placed with very nice package. But placement of core branches are not that good. but some core students in college cracks government jobs too. college provide internship cum training which is free of cost but also one not get stipend. but students do internship in other companies and also get stipend.

We have two mega fests one is cultural fest named UTKANSH and technical fest named TECHNITI. both are one of the biggest fest in north India. We have participation from whole india because of huge budget and huge prize money. I am myself is a part of the team cultural affairs.

As this is a government institution so fees is not very high it's feasible. fir general students its 75000 per semester for my batch and 12500 for sc and st students. And 7000 for students whose family income is below 1 lacs. Mess ans hostel fees is 25000 per semester for everyone.

Sc st students get some fees off and also scholarships. Education loan is very common in our college. Because of good reputation banks easily give loan to students. There are also many scholarship in our college which are available on website of institute.

Gender ratio is very poor here. its about 1:6. College organise at leat ine workshop a week. Extracurricular activities are really appreciated in the college we have 12 clubs for different intrest. And all kind of playground for any popular sports and games. There is no politics in college nor any student union which is good but also bad. College have a healthy environment.

I am living in hostel. Hostels are very good here. And food quality is also better than so called mess food in other colleges. we have room sharing of four in first year and sharing of two in second and third year and single seater room im final year. Mess food quality is okay but sometimes its very poor.

Alumni network of our college is very strong because its one of the oldest engineering colleges in the state. Senior junior interaction is poor in first year because of fear of ragging. But then its normal and all interact in clubs and classes. Senior in college are very helpful. and some alumni also help financially to clubs.

I did preparation for JEE main. After 12th class i take exam and got selected for this college. I chose this college on the basis of my marks. We have to report in college after seat allotment in online counseling.

Most faculties are helpful and at the same time well qualified too. But exceptions are everywhere, some faculties have knowledge but don't know how to pass it to others. Many faculties are really good and are educated from foreign universities and have a deep knowledge of their subjects. overall quality of faculties are good in this college.
