Remarks

Best College they say, absolutely correct. Best in infra, best in academics, best in extra curriculum, best in placements, best experience, best time with friends, best feelinh, best greenery, best atmosphere and environment. Honored to be a part of this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The 1st is chilled and the syllabus is also not that vast specially in 1st semester.2nd year is little hectic. Not only theoritical knowledge but practical knowledge is also enhanced.Focus is on computer based learning as well.Socities are their for personality development. These make our college the best. You get a lot of experience in every field. You organise fest yourself. Its fun with lots of learnings.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are really good.We have a seperate placement cell for that.Companies for job come for 3rd/Final years including EY Parthenon, JP Morgan, The big 4's, CITI Bank, HDFC, Bain and Company to name a few.The highest package this year was 31 Lakh Rs per annum and average package floats around 5-6 lakhs pa.Internship companies also come to college for penultimate year students.Deutsche bank, Nomura, CITI, EY etc are some which have recruited interns this year till now.The highest stipend was 75000 Rs PM.Deutsche bank offered 60000 pm and citi a 40000 pm.

College Events

5

There are above 40 socities in the college having their seperate event which makes the college alive in the month of January, Feb and March. The college looks lit.The enviroment becomes cheerful.DJ nights, star nights are very common in these month. We conduct one of the best fest in India CROSSROADS which featured GURU RANDHAWA, SALIM SULEIMAN, DJ CHETAS, THE LOCAL TRAIN last year.Parmish Verma also performes in FOYS.Business Conclave is a very good event which features various politicians, businessmen, actors and comedians like Abhishek Upmanyu last year.Ranvijay also came at an event.Manoj Vajpayee also came. There are a lot other good fests like Spandhan, Histrionica etc.featuring big stars.

Fee Structure And Facilities

30000 Rs per year is the fees which I think is feasible.Very genuine and the infra is very good. The only thing is the cost of living in PGs and Hostel which is 11000 Rs per Month at least without your personal expense which is very expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

College offers scholarship ranging form 12000 to 30000 to some students each year.Loan facility and fee waiver is also there for needy students in the college.Need based scholarship is also given by the college.Even I have been selected for a merit cum need based scholarship this year

Campus Life

Hostel Facilities

4

I havnt opted for it but friends say that it is good in terms of rooms. But no Ac, but personal coolers are allowed.Attached washrooms are not there.Food is not that good in Boys Hostel but very fgood in Girls Hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful if you approach them.Allumni network although is not very strong. If you ask for help from seniors everybody is ready to help you in any way they can. They are polite and humble.

Admission

First of all application form of Delhi University is to be filled which is out in may. After that the merit cut off list arrives and if you clear tge cutoff of the college you have to go to the college, fill college's application form, submit the required original documents, pay the fees and you will become a part of a family that every commerce student wants to join. I chose BCOM hons over Ba Eco Hons because I had morr intrest in accountancy than in Mathematics and ECO Hons is mathematics based. That's why I preffered BCOM HONS.

Faculty

5

Faculty is very good, knowledgeful and co-operative as well.Yes there are a few very strict teachers but they always hope for your best. They are willing to provide knowledge they have to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
