Remarks
Overall the college is quite good and the teachers are very helpful. Yes, the campus might not be very good as it lacks playground and other recreation spots but it offers a lot of jobs for students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum is quite good. Especially the CSE department is outstanding. You can be chilled as there is little worry regarding attendance. The labs are quite good and spacious with working equipment and computers.
Placement Experience
Our placement scope is quite good. Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Amazon, and many many more pay regular visits. Almost no student remains unplaced till the end of the course and many students even brag about more than one job.
College Events
We have our own fests- Elixir and Panache. Elixir is celebrated every two years with great pomp and show. Panache is done inside college premises. Also, we have TechStorm our own Tech Fest which is grandly done.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is according to the MAKAUT propaganda. It is 42000. Also, there is a scope for TFW and scholarships for economically challenged students. The fee structure is not at all expensive and the payment method is NEFT.
Fees and Financial Aid
I know about a great percentage of scholarships offered to apply students who are economically poor and challenged. There is also the TFW scheme where a student doesn't need a single penny in 4 years.
Campus Life
There is no field or playground on the campus. However, sports are organized every year. Also, indoor games are organized every year. There is no discrimination against students on any grounds. Also, there are forums for students to have a hobby.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is quite poor. The food services are quite backward. It's filthy and dirty. The quality of food is very bad. Accomodation is fair. Sanitation is very very poor. Hygiene is not maintained properly.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is quite good. Alumni are very helpful and friendly. They visit the campus often. Alumni who are passed out 10 years still come for a visit to the college. There is not a single case of ragging.
Admission
We get Admission by giving WB JEE exam or by management quota. Securing at least 20000 rank in WBJEE can guarantee a spot in the college. Apart from this management quota can be used for admission where you need to put in a quite hefty amount of money.
Faculty
Most of the faculty are outstanding. They are quite friendly and helpful. The CSE department facilities are the most friendly and helpful. They help you through all thick and thin and also helps you with low attendance.
