College it good. Also the campus life is worth to try. But the current fees of the college is so hight that not all can afford it. Also the placement are not as the same level. The rich can only afford it now due to high fees structure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college has a good curriculum for the students. It focus on overall development of students mind in terms of food technology. The courses cover all the major aspects related to food. Also the entrepreneurship is also taught and encouraged among students.
Placement Experience
The placements are good but not the best. Companies are made to call but not the good ones. The option during placements are very limited and core companies are less. And for internship no internship is being provided.
College Events
Events are organised in the college including both technical and non technical. Technical are the ones which are organised on the world food day nad non technical are the college annual fest. Also the festivals are also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is expensive now. Earlier during the batch of 2014- 2018 the feea per semester was 62500. But after the batch 2015 the fees increased and is approx 125000 approx per semester which is quite hight. Actual figure is not known.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship were provided to poor or low category students on the overall performance and the financial condition of the student. Not all can avail the facility of scholarship. Also the loan from the sbi bank in the campus can be availed if required.
Campus Life
Labs are good, but the college has lack of focus on sports and cultural activity. Students have to compel the staff and after so many requests proper ground are being made now. Anf for dances and music cultural room has been made.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni networks are made by seniors and maximum pass out students are part of it. And it appears to be very helpful as information regarding jobs are shared here also it anyone requires any type of help then they can ask for it here
Admission
Being a central government college, it was a dream to be a part of it. The admissions was on the basis of the jee mains rank. But they do their counciling after wards. It is the best college in north india for food technology.
Faculty
Faculty of the college are good, well experienced, highly qualified and good in nature. Their teaching skills are impressive and brilliant. along with the normal lectures practicals were also given priorities for better learning of students.
