College rating

My college is good. Rank in All NITs is 6th. Positive remark is in my college is placements in non core is good. And negative remark is in my college the core side placements is poor in think and also knowledge of core is not good.

Chemical engineering is good in Malaviya National institute of technology, jaipur(MNIT), this is 4 year programme and in one year there is 2 semester. In one semester there is one mid term examination and one end term examination and in lab examination there is viva written test and we have to perform the practical also. And also conducted 2 quiz in one subject in a semester, also we have to submit the assignments. Total 30 marks of mid term examination, 50 marks end term examination, and 20 marks( 5 marks attendance, 5 marks assignments and 10 marks quiz) we have to maintain our attendance 75%.

Placement and job opportunities are to good in non core side and is ok ok in core side. Yes, my college provide internship in 3rd year. In internship the stipend is good not too good but some companies give too good stipends like reliance provided 30,000 per month. In procedure to selecte internship is first there is CGPA criteria after that we have to give examination and after that there is interview.

In 1st semester we have to pay 15,000 caution money and one semester academic fee is normally approximately 80k of general and OBC category. And if our family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then we have to submit 37,400 rupey and if income is less then 1 lakh then we have to pay 16k. For ST and SC fee is 16,000 for all students. And hostel fee of semester is 37,000 for all students.

Yes, some scholarship and loan facility offered by our college. From SBI bank we can take loan but only on academic fee not on hostel fee. Some scholarship are also provided by our college but i don't have much idea about that but some scholarship are based of income some based on CGPA and some state scholarship are also provided by our college.

Labs and sports are good in my college. In sport badminton, table tennis, loan tennis, chess, gymnastics(boys), volleyball, football(boys), Yoga, Athletics, Basketball are there. Labs activities are also good and this year new labs and new equipment are also bought.

In 1st year room there is 3 students in one room after 1st year single rooms are provided. Boys hostel infrastructure in not good for 1st and 2nd year students. And for girls hostel infrastructure is good. Food quality is good but some time that's not good. And facilities are good there is land cable for net in every room and hot water is provided. And other facilities is good but there is some issues regarding to cleaning and water problem.

Alumni network is also good there is one day is also celebrating on 25th December of alumni day and alumni provided some internship and placements and they also give college funds. Alumni network is good not too good because as compare to other colleges alumni network is too good in IITs and in some other NITs but in my NIT not too good.

By Jee main entrance examination. Once you have to give paper then result and come and by counselling we are got seats and according to rank we got our branch. After that in counselling we have to submit our document and after that we have to pay our fee.

In my college chemical engineering department's faculty is good as compare to other departments. In our department there is approx more than 20 faculty and also there is new joining. In my department Professors are 2 to 3 other and assistance professor and associate professor.
