J.K college, Purulia : Review

Positive: college is very good. Atmosphere is good, college cleaned. Seniors are very good. Professors are very good. They insure our future like his/her son/daughters. Negative: Nothing. I have nothing negative remarks for college.

Here, mathematics dept is very good. Here total 23th departments. Exam are held by sidhu kanho university in semester mode. Total 6 semester held. Each year 2 semester held. And in college deptartment wise take a mid sem exam in every semester.

Here are no placement cell and don't offer job through campus any student. And college does not provide any type of internship. This is the cons of the college. But without internship and placements college made bright students.

Here every type of events celebrates. Like * Rabindra jayanti * Saraswati Pujo * Teachers' Day * Reunion * Annual sports programmes * College's Birthday * And others all type of events celebrates here.

Here fee structure is very very law. Any type of students like high, middle class, lower class students studied without any hesitation in fee structure. College is semester wise, so every semester fee approximately around 2000 (2k). In around 14000 (14k) any student's graduation should be completed.

College don't provide any type of loans and fee structure is very low, so any students don't need loan for studies. But college provided any type of government and private scholarships and stipend if any student applied for scholarships.

Here are so much extracurricular activities like sports tournaments, quize competition, debate competition etc. Here labs are very good and have new generation Machine and provided students great knowledge. Here available a gym for students and every year held a inter college sports tournaments.

I not opted for hostel. But I know faculties of hostels. Here are total 3 hostels. One for girls and two for boys. Hostel facility is very very good. In hostel food is available. And food quality is good. Hostel rooms are very clean and atmosphere is very good.

Here alumni networks are very very very good. Senior students are very helpful, be like elder brothers and sisters. They helped us so much in any type of doubts anything. They are so friendly. Every year department wise held a reunion for seniors and also a farewell functions.

After completing 12th standard exam, I applied for this college through online. Than this college take admission through 12th standard marks. I am eligible in marks,then I take admission through online.

College faculty is very good. Here available a canteen, a big play ground, a garden, a girls common room, a boys common room, a auditorium, a gym a library etc. I fully satisfied this faculty.
