Our college has huge infrastructure with adiquate facilities. Also there's greenery all around campus. All types of talent can grow up under this environment. System of administrative is good. There's something lack in cleanliness, services and management. recently adopted continuous evaluation system is somewhat difficult for students it makes students irritated. Because of that work of faculties is increased and that affects in their behavior towards students.

Course curriculum is good for students but it is not sufficient for future Industrial need. There's is lack of co curricular activities like industrial visit, workshops. Course outcomes based on theoritical knowledge they are not able to do application of knowledge. Because of very tight schedule and monitoring students have to go for mark oriented learning. Course for modern software have added but there is no provision for teaching modern software in college. so students have to go for private classes to learn modern software.

L. d. college of Engineering is first in placements in Gujarat. There is lots of job opportunities government as well as private. No other engineering college in Gujarat are providing campus placement. In current year, approx. 1000 students have gotten campus placement. There is also good environment for competitive exam and other non technical career. Our civil engineering program is also NBA accredited.

L. d. college of engineering has many clubs which doing many cultural, social and educational activities. There is various club according to interest of students. There is also NSS (National service scheme) and NCC (national cadet corps) in our college. Ummeed- kite festival,Lakshya Tech fest, Sahitya sarita,Tarang,Kaizen- farewell function, Kalrav events are organized by various club. Students get participated in the this type of extra curricular activities and enhance their skills of management, communication, marketing, leadership. Previous year also there is a ISTE national level techfest organized in our college.

Students are getting education at very nominal tution fees. Every year students expenditure on fees is approx. around 6000 to 7000 rupees including exam and college fees. it is very nominal compared to any private institute.

No there is no provision of scholarship and loan from college. But MYSY, scholarship for general caste students and Digital gujarat scholarships for other social and economical backward classes as well as scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

Extra curricular activities like sportsmeet, Garba, dance Parties, Fun events, social activities like blood donation, women empowerment, drawing Competition,wall painting competition,Quizes, science fair.

There's LDCE Alumni Association in our college to connect LDCE Alumni to our college. Students are getting benefitted by various activities of LAA club. LAA organize various workshops and educational and cultural activities.

In Gujarat, Admission process of all professional courses are conducted by ACPC. 12th passout students who want to take admission in professional courses have to get pin generated by the ACPC. After that ACPC announce merit based on their Gujarat board examination and GUJCET exam. According to merit it is going to be decided that student is eligible or not for particular course. L. d. college of Engineering is very reputed college there is little bit tough to get admission in it. There is no any type of interview in admission process.

Faculties of our college are highly qualified. Most of the professor of main subjects are doctorates in their respective field. All have student friendly behavior. But they are not interested in using modern methods of teaching and not using modern teaching aids. They are also provided with projector and screen but they are using conventional chalk board method.
