I had all positive experiences in my college days. My only regret now is may i haven't studied much or may be we don't know what exactly need to be done. The experience of one can not be same for other. It all depends on the situation.

Course Structure is good. It is a mix of both theory classes & Lab. There are lot of extra curricular activities happening in the campus. Inter college competition. The curriculam not that hectic. One can plan to do other activities as well.

Placements are very good in the college. The placement team was very good when I was internship is mandatory. Some get paid internship, I received 15 k pe month during during final placements company's like facebook, Google, Abobe,IBM. etc.

Spandana - Annual sports event, Many students all over India used to participate in the event. I earned a gold medal in taikwondo. Kashiyatra - Annu cultural event. In this event we had dance, debate, fashion show etc.

Fee is very less compared to Other IIT College's. I remember I paid 13,500 rupees per semester. Hostel is free. Mess is managed by students & it is affordable. I remember I used to pay 2000 rupees per month. In mess we had both veg & non-veg.

I haven't availed any loan for my study. But during admission we had banks offering loans at less interest rates. Scholarship was given to few students baed on ther academic background & financial background.

Gender ratio is good. every Saturday evening mess used to be closed,so alll have to go out for dinner. The diversity of students is pretty much high as it is a all india Entrance exam. I my self from south indian went to Varanasi to study B-Tech.

Hostel infrastructure is decent. we had free wifi & lan provided to every student. Hostel rools are old but with big gardens. Stay in hostel is mandatory. Every year we used to change the hostel, so every year you will have a different experience.

Alumi network is good. If some one need help they are always available. My experience with senior students was good. They will help you during your exams & placements. One should respect the seniors so that the relationship will be good.

I wrote IIT-JEE Entrance exam. After that through counciling in IIT Madras. After filling preferences I got seat in IIT BHU Varanasi. It is pure luck those days, which course & which college you will get. But the allocation is based on your preference form filled.

The faculty depends on the course you do. I studied ceramic engineering. Few faculty members were good with good experience. The were very much interested to teach the course. we also had a plane visit tour.
