The college offers good placement and is also good in academics

The college is located near the airport,so connectivity is not an issue. we got NBA accredited in 2019 and Valid up to 2022. Wi-Fi facility is available, but there is a certain limit for data usage. The college is strict about discipline. The college is 100% ragging free. The college has won Hackathon thrice in national competition (2017,2018 and 2019), and Hackathon in Bengal in 2019.

The college is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT). It follow the curriculum as prescribed by the university. The course curriculum recently changed according to the current industry trends. There are 2 semester in a year. In each semester there are about 6 practical papers and 6 theory papers. And every subject has one micro-project each semester. Its gives students a thorough insight about there study. For theory papers there are 4 continuous assessment of 25 marks and end semester exam of 70 marks. For practical papers there is 40 marks internal assessment and 60 marks end semester exam.

Placement in this college is very good. Infosys and CTS are our Mass recruiters and they take about 60-70% of our students. Average package of a student is around 3. 5-4 lac per annum. The placement cell is very cooperative. Internships are offered only if the student is interested. The average stipend depends on the kind of internship chosen. The highest salary package offered last year was 10 LPA.

Every 3 years cultural fest Elixir is organized in this college that's the 3 day fest. Many other events like language fest Panache, Technical fest Techstorm, foundation day, sarsawati Puja, Viswakarma puja and many others also take place in this college.

The fees structure is according to the norms of the university under which the college is affiliated - Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The total fees is for the entire course is 4 Lakhs(approx). In first semester we need to pay about 70k. In the other 7 semester s we need to pay about 40k(approx). All the fees is needed to paid in draft or neft. Also before the exams we need to pay exam fees of 1200 rupees

Tuition fee waiver quota is available for the needy but meritorious students. They need to pay only about a fees of 25k for the entire course. Also West Bengal Freeman scheme (WBFS) is also available for needy students where there need to be paid only 50% of the fees

Infrastructure of the college is good. We have got AC and Wi-Fi enabled computer labs and other labs with necessary top of the class equipments. The labs and the equipments are well maintained. We don't have a field in the college campus. Annual sports is held by taking a ground on rent. Also football and cricket tournament is held in each semester. carrom, table tennis and chess(indoor games) tournament is also held

We have a alumni room in our college,where alumni stay when they visit the campus. a quiz competition named grey matter is held annually by the alumni association. Also the alumni association honor the student of each year who have scored the highest GPA.

I appeared for WBJEE 2018 and secured a rank about 25k. Then I sat for the counselling procedure. The counselling process of WBJEE is completely online. After choice filling,I locked my choice. In the second round I got IT in this college. As I was content with that I freezed my choice. Then with the allotment letter went to the admission office which is in park Street. There we needed to submit the allotment letter and the necessary documents like marksheet, adhar card etc and the a draft of about 70k. The University development fee though needs to paid in cash.

The faculty are very good and most of them are highly qualified and well versed in their field. More than half of the faculty have completed their doctorate. The teachers are very helpful and also very interactive and also student friendly. They use different teaching methods to Illustrate you the topic. Student to faculty ratio is 30:1. They generally teach us using the board and chalk (multiple colours). Faculty members also use the projector to show 3D diagrams and PPTs. Every year students go for industrial visits
