Over all college is very good in perspective of acadmics infrastructures laboratory facilites teachers managment and support staff. This college don't have that much good sports facilities and coaches.
Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is a very prestigious courseof 4. 5years and 1 year mandatory internship. whole of the MBBS is devided into 4 parts mbbs 1st mbbs 2nd mbbs 3rd part 1 and mbbs 3 part 2. Total 19 subject is in MBBS. it is a very tough and intresting course.
Placement Experience
In course of mbbs intership is mandatory. Although stipend is low (9. 5k/month) in my college. KPC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL comes under WEST BENGAL UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES. and recognised to admit 150 student in each batch.
College Events
So many medical confrences sarwasti puja, independence and republic day celebration And our annual fest "PLEXUS", inter college football tournament, inter college cricket, badminton, table tanis tournament. Are the major eventa of our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is under direct control of west bengal govt. For my batch it is 7. 5 lakhs per annum. But it is increasing 10% per annum. So it is slightly expensive. And lower middle class student can't afford even after scoring good marks in NEET exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship available from college but thwy provide all the assistance which is required for education loan. As it is a reputed and recognize college so no any bank denies to give load to stiludents if required.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is almost 50 50 and the no. Of patients are good so we get to learn to much. Hostel Facilities
Yes i have taken hostel. A seprate hostel for boys and girl is available at rate of 3000 per month excluding mess charges. Quality of food is average in the mess. thereis single double amd triple sharing rooms are available.
Alumni/Alumna
There is no alumini network. But seniors are very good and cooprative. Ragging is strictly prohibited in my college and nobody takes it. our seniors help in all the way they can by their guidance or by teaching us.
Admission
My choice to serve huminity attracted me towards this course. for admission in this college i had scored a very good marks in a national level entrance test called NEET. After that attending an online counseling through website of WBMCC this college was allotted. Following that i submitted my documents and cheque for fee and started my class after few days.
Faculty
They are well qualified and taught us very well and are too cooperative during our studies. They give us their best. Teaches with full enthisiasm. Their guidance is always present for students which helps us alot during our studies.
