The college campus is too small, there is no such hangout place in the premises in your free time. CSE and IT are the well reputed branches of the institution. PBI(part of a college body) provides fund for the startups.

Course curriculum is quite good of the college along with some benefits of being an autonomous college, but if you get a seat in nit, iit, vit or bits in reputed branches then please don't come to this college. Overall the curriculum is good but you are not as independent as a vit student who can choose his/her subjects as per his topics related to his of each semester. Whereas from 3rd sem onwards you can choose one of your subject.

The placement and job scenario of college is quite good. You should check the placement ratio from the NIRF site, but still there is good scenario of placement for CSE and IT. The internships,. I would suggest to look out for internships on your own, don't depend too much for a paid internship opportunity from the college.

The events are unavoidable part of a college. Throughout the events are organised in the campus, but as the college is so small the events are also conducted on a small scale. Don't compare the level with NIT or IIT or VIT or BITS. There is a annual fest called pratishruti conducted by the SRC which is the biggest event of the college which goes on for 3 days.

The fee structure is little bit expensive with the increment of 10% in each year. The hostel and mess facility is also quite expensive, 90000 annually for a 2 bed room.There is a caution money deposit of almost 4000 (prediction) which you have to deposit during the 1st year admission process.

If you took admission from a government seat allocation process then you will get the scholarship facilities provided by the government, inspite of that 51%seats are reserved for Hindi minority, so you can opu for a scholarship if you have EBC certificate.

Various workshops and sports activity are conducted throughout the year, you can opt for any of them according to your need or field of interest. Despite of these the labs condition are much better and well equipped.

The alumni and seniors of this college are quite helpful. And of course, some might be thinking of ragging scenario of the college, but its completely depend on the student how he/she interacts with his/her seniors.

In SRCOEM a aspirer can get admission through mhtcet cap round or through management rounds conducted by the college in which the students are selected on the merit basis, based on their jee or mhtcet score card. 20% seats are reserved for management quota out of which some seats are reserved for jee aspirants and remaining for mh cet students. Different merit lists are made on the basis of jee ranking and mh cet ranking. The students are supposed to be present during the management rounds, the are called as per the merit list and seats are alloted on first come first serve basis.

The college has highly qualified faculties, most of them have done their PhD in their field of interest. Some faculties have their own research paper and patents too. The teacher distribution scenario is same as that of other colleges, you are not supposed to get the best faculty of your subjects.
