The college is overall a good college which provides us proper guidance both in academics and placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

We have both practical and theoretical learnings. Practical weightage - 30% which are based on Presentations and the rest are collected from end-term and midterms. The overall course structure is good this all major aspects being covered. We are provided with the notes and ppts after the class.

Placement Experience

Placement of the college is fairly good. We all have received internships. Most of the seniors also were neatly placed.

College Events

Events like Midnight sunrise, Octave, Freshers party, Rush for Rush, HR Marathon, IER sessions, Business pressure cooker, Thompson Reuters, Tri business championship, Case Blazer etc. A lot of events do happen in our college. From them, we learn as well as enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure is well defined. We receive a brochure where the breaking up of the fess is shown in a crystal clear format. The fees structure is quite reasonable as compared to most other business schools. With accommodation and food in a place like Maharashtra, the fees is quite reasonable.

I have an education loan. The college officials will guide you in a proper manner with all the formalities you need to do.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is fantastic. You will get both double sharing and single sharing options. Both Ac and Nonac rooms. The hostels are nice and clean. The marshes clean the hostels every alternate day. Each lobby has 1 water purifier and 4 rooms in the gound floor and 1st floor.

The senior students will help you in every possible manner be it academics or placement assistance. There were no ragging cases in the institute.

I got to know about this college from a friend of mine. I reviewed this college many times. Got to know about the academics and placement scenario. I made a lot of research and then decided to go for this college. I applied online and then visited the Kolkata office of Universal Business School. I got more information from there and was convinced that I was going to take a good decision. 2 Online Interviews were conducted.

I feel the faculties of Universal Business school are their strength. Excellent faculties who are understanding and always there to help you with anything. If you don't understand anything in the class, the professors would not stop repeating themselves until you understand.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable.
