Reviewing my College-VIT Chennai

Positive remarks are the college develop a student in all aspects i. e. in academics, moving socially with others,etc. It provides you to get placed in leading companies of the world like Microsoft,Amazon,IBM,etc

It's really great. VIT really prepares it curriculum based on the current world unlike other colleges where they study the same old syllabus. It also gets updated every year and make the student industry ready by the end of his academic career

The internship and placement opportunities are really great. This academic year I was one of passed out students. So I attended placements this year. Over 200 companies attended our college and I am placed in IBM company.

There are 2 main events(fests) conducted in our college. One is TechnoVit which is a technical fest. Other is Vibrance which is a cultural fest. Both are conducted very grandly and schools and colleges from entire Tamil Nadu attend various colleges and attend those events

Fees structure varies based on the rank we get in the entrance examination i. e. VITEE. Totally there are 5 categories for each course. category 1 students should pay 2 lakhs annually and category 5 students pay 5 lakhs

There is no such loan facility provided by VIT for its students. You need to try on your own for getting loan. But anyway,VIT provides scholarship facility for merit students. For students with rank less than 10,000 will get 50,000 scholarship and students below 20,000 rank will get 25000 scholarship annually.

VIT is one of the topmost colleges if you consider infrastructure. They have well established laboratories in 2 academic labs covered for all branches. Also there are grounds for playing sports like cricket, football,tennis,batminton,throw ball,hockey even a swimming pool

Hostels are very great in VIT. The college provide hostel facility within the campus for their students. Both boys and girls have separate hostel buildings. Food is also provided in the mess which is in ground floor of the hostel blocks.

Alumni network is very huge for VIT. The previous students of VIT are migrated to many parts of India and other countries of the world. VIT conducts Alumni meet even in other countries also. Even the seniors are very helpful to their juniors too

I had a lot of passion for Computer science. So after giving my VITEEE entrance examination,I was called by VIT for counseling and I have chosen computer Science over other courses. I didn't find seat in the main campus and so decided to go to Chennai campus

Faculty here are some of the senior most faculty you will find in the industry. They are very much experienced in the courses they teach and almost all of them have done research in their fields and published some papers also. So they have in depth knowledge in their field
