Review about my college

The positive remarks are that the college has good facilities, awesome faculties and the opportunities for nice placements the college infrastructure and campus were awesome too and some negative remarks are old syllabus.

Course Structure was not so good as the syllabus they followed was old as compared to current technologies but yes during labs and exams it used to be hectic. During labs it was fun and at the time tiring because we have to work and learn the things on field. learning was good and talking about exams it had a pattern of 70 marks of theory and 30 marks for practical and internal exams.

The MNC's such as Infosys, Capgemini and TCS have with the package of 2lpa-3lpa and other small scale industries with 1. 4lpa-2lpa and yes the college provides the internships for 3 months during vacation of 2nd year and with that they gave stipend of Rs. 5k per month but the experience was very good and I got to learn many things.

The events which used to drive me crazy was WITCHAR and ACCELERATION they were the intercollege competitions in which all the colleges in and around used to participate both the events were of 2-3 days and were organised and managed by the technical team of college and cultural festival of Atharva was conducted by cultural team of college

Fees was around ?107732 it was feasible as compared to other colleges in India. The tution fee was around ?96000 and the remaining fees was for library,gym and sports and at the start of the course ?2000 was taken as deposit for any loss to college which was refunded at the end of the course

I have availed the scholarship of ?25000 every year under the jain minority quota but it was also based on the percentage of previous year if the personal has 60 and above percentage he/she is eligible for applying for scholarship.

There were many extracurricular activities happening in college various competitions were held by the SSDC, ISTE and ED cells of college. Talking about tolerance Generally the discrimination was done by some people and it was always divided by Maharashtra state students (MS) and other than Maharashtra state students (OMS) but rather than that some people everything was fine.

Hostel fees was ?18000 whereas 4000 was taken as deposit initially which was refunded at the end of the course. The facilities were nice availability of water and electricity 24/7 and wifi in hostel campus which was can only be used in laptops but the infrastructure was not so good for the hostel which i was alloted but there was new hostel with fees of ? 28000 had much better infrastructure and there were many PG's nearby hostel and College which rented ?12000 per annum.

Seniors always helped us for everything not only for my academics but also for my personal problems they were very nice and helpfull and learning from them we became more friendly with our juniors And most importantly there is nothing like ragging in the campus or hostel

Admission process goes simple if anyone has a good JEE(mains) score and a average percentage. The reason for selecting the B. E. (mechanical engineering ) was that the college of mine was providing a good placements and good faculties for the course.

All the faculty members were helpful and always they were ready to solve our doubts even we used to call them late night asking them doubts. They always thought us with live examples and as the syllabus was old they used to tell us about new technologies in market and how can we learn them and how are they usefull.
