Good college with decent infrastructure and faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

We will give 8-semester exam in this curriculum and each semester duration is 6 months and before each semester two internal exam is taken and a practical exam is taken with viva and 30 out of a hundred is given by the subject teacher as an internal number.

Placement Experience

The top 10 of each batch are placed with a minimum of 4 lakh packages and the highest placement is 10 lakh for annual. And they are placed in Amazon and cognizant etc and many other students are placed in much renowned company.

College Events

Tech fest, freshers, Saraswati puja, and many other cultural events are celebrated. there are many important seminars are organized by each department.

Yes, there are sufficient loan facilities and good scholarship like national scholarship.

Yes, there are a lot of sports events. like inter-college football and volleyball tournament.

Admission

I gave the entrance exam, WBJEE( West Bengal joint entrance examination). And with the rank of this, I got admission and another process of management quota is available for 10% of total seats and there are no extra donations for management quota.

Faculty

We have sufficient faculty and books in our college and they are very helpful and careful in college and out of the college and they are very concerned with our study and syllabus. And they give us many important notes.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Eligibilty of the course is 60 percent in with maths in 12th and needed to sit and get a rank in wbjee .Admission process is too much sothing you have to just come in college with the required fees admission fees is approx 96,000 in first sem you can deposit it in 6 month in half half amout.And in next sem approx 85000 is needed per sem till 4 year.Admission process is easy they will cooperate with you.you can get the form in admission dpartment.Areas of improvement is mainly if fees isn't paid in 6 month then yo will not be allowed to sit in exams....Read More
