Our college NIRF ranking is 19 which adds to its glory. Everything is good and placement aswell. If you want to research this college comes in ques of various IIT with good mentors. you will find vast opportunity in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our institute focus on research and my branch is a research based branch. we have 9 -5 class with 2 lab in a week. examination are held every 6 month. we have 8 semester in total in which we have 5 subject for each semester.
Placement Experience
Placement is average. not good in my course but it is far better for department like cs and IT. off course they provide internship to eligible students with handsome package. highes package this year was 49 lakh per annum.
College Events
Our College spend and focus a lot on cultural and technical and it is among largest in its zone. our main cultural fest REBECA is recognised as oldest fest in our country. tech fest like INSTRUO is largest in east zone with huge participantion.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's fee structure is decided by MHRD. Its about 70000 per semester for students whose family income is above 5 lakh per annum 25000 for students whose family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh and students who belongs to SC ST category and have family income less than 1 lakh will have to give 4500 per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarship is given to students who is having less income and have good curriculum and talking about loan it is easily available to students from the banks situated without any collateral also the fee is not that much high.
Campus Life
Intrested students participates in various competitions like inter NIT. The institute itself organise various sports event which is open for various institute aswell. We have 2 ground 1 gymnasium in our campus.
Alumni/Alumna
It's is recognised as second oldest college in our country giving it a strong and huge alumni network not only in country but across world. and they are supportive to their alumunus. They are in high post which definitely help in placement.
Admission
It was done through all india competitive exam called JEE mains where i secured a rank which qualify me for the seat in btech course in metallurgy and materials engineering for a duration of 4 year. Seat was provided by JOSSA.
Faculty
They are well qualified and experienced. overall faculty are good in our College. As it is National level college and recently recognised as 31st NIT you may predict the status of our faculties. They must have a PhD degree offcourse.
