Remarks

I can say that everything have two faces. One side is negative and other one is positive. If you see positive then you realize. Environment, culture, socities, study is always a key point about a college reputation. But if you see negative point then i will say ghat because of election of DU every year we have to face bad politics in college

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Everything thing is well prepared to u. But as you know if you are in commerce field then what you expect from labs. These words are directly related to science students who are pursuing BSC Engineering etc. But somehow you will see that there are few for us like computer lab for taxation, tally etc

Placement Experience

4

Yes. Our college is also provide internships to students. As we know college are very popular for their placement opportunities to the student. At the end of 1st year you will be aware that from the starting of mid sem break interns are also started. Companies are comjng with their offers. Majorly portionis selected for marketing and management internships.

College Events

3.5

Delhi universy is popular for their fest. In the year 2017 the fest is organized and miling gaba was jnvited for the singing performance and shivjot who is also a punjabi singer is also invited after the MG. Somehow if you compare colleges in comparison of fest or programmes then DU is best

Fee Structure And Facilities

Pretty expensive. As much i know if you are in 1st year then approx 15750 rupees is for first year and 14500 is for second year and 13750 is for third year and semester examination fees is already included in it. But it is higher than some others highly famous colleges like bhagat singh khalsa arsd etc

Fees and Financial Aid

As we know about placement and opportunities in du colleges. Because of low fees structure generally student not prefer to take loan for graduation purpose. But these kind of facility's is also available for students if they want to take it. Some companies offers scholarship to some students also.

Campus Life

4

Sometimes i feel that we miss extracurricular activites in our college because of continuous of lecture we are unable to play and missing the lecture. Gender ration is about 70:30. Every year workshops are organizing by the socities president for interns or many other things.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Actually i am properly belong from delhi. so home is best for me. I can't prefer hostel for delhite's students but some of my classmates who are staying in hostels they said that 7000 is minimum for a person rent just for bed. But if you adjust by sharing then you can easily take a flat on rent and can minimize the cost of per person which can be vary between 4000 to 5000.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior student are always helpful for you. They are freindly in nature. Sometimes they help you for sharing of notes. Because of senior help you can join political parties, culture socities etc. If you alhmni of colleges then you can easily search on google about PGDAV COLLEGE ALHMNI.

Admission

On the basis of cut - offs you can get the admission in entire delhi University except some colleges like st. Stephen. Generally every year every college publish there cut off list from the starting of july till end of august.

Faculty

4

As much i know every teacher is well qualified like some teachers are Doctor, some are company secretary also. because Delhi University is a govt university every teacher is may be at least B. ed qualified.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
