Remarks
College is good in academics but sports are not for day scholars. They should allow students of final year to join the company if a student gets joining in the company. The infrastructure of the college is good and the labs are excellent.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure of our college is defined by RTU, Kota. The course structure is not good for our batch but, if we look at our juniors, their course is much better than us. At regular intervals, college takes our mid-term exams so that we keep on studying. Labs are very good in our college and very productive keeping the view of an industry. The college environment is very good and relaxing. No extra work for students so that we can enjoy our college life too.
Placement Experience
This year was a good year for us as many companies visited our college giving us much better jobs as compares to last year. This year approximately 30 companies visited our college. Companies like TCS and Infosys also visited our college. Not only this, almost every company that visited college was for the technical profile. This year's average stipend went to 4. 3 Lakhs.
College Events
Our college has technical events of every department of its own. If we talk about the Computer Science department, it organizes Exergie, a national level technical event. Robomania is organized by mechanical department, as so on. Cultural events are also organized in our college which is also a very good attraction.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fee is feasible. We have to give Rs. 77,000 for the whole year which we can give in 2 parts, starting each semester. Hostel fee is Rs. 70,000 for a year which is also very feasible, as it includes mess charges and security.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are few seats in our college which are for those students whose parents are in the army. The fee for the same seats are very less. Other than this there are seats for poor students too. Many students are taking advantage of this and doing really well with it.
Campus Life
Regular workshops are organized in college for students. Sports event like ARYA Cup is organized for inter-college and inter-branch level which include every possible sport. The students can play at night and in their free time too.
Hostel Facilities
I would not prefer for the hostel as the rooms are not so good to spend the day. Single seater room is very small, but if we look at 2 or 3 seater rooms they are not so big but satisfactory. Many students can't live in the hostel of college, so they opt for PG which is good in space and rent is also less which is only Rs. 50,000 per year.
Alumni/Alumna
Every senior is friendly with the juniors and helps them in every situation. As we are seniors we take care that there is no problem for juniors anywhere in college. Our seniors which are now alumni are also connected with us and constantly contact us and we take help of them too.
Admission
My college is affiliated with Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota. RTU gives students the option to select a college in which they can select their favorite college and fill them in online form according to our priority. Then, they calculate our 12th and JEE mains scores and gives us the list of colleges in which we can take admission. This process is called REAP. Then we have to go to the college we want and can take admission.
Faculty
The college faculty is very cool in nature as well as helpful. They are very friendly but sometimes for our betterment they are strict too. They motivate us to keep up a good pace in studying. They help in organizing technical as well as technical events of the college.
