Good College

I have passed out long back. Things got changed mean while. College improved a lot. Facilities improved also. But if the placement will be more it iwill be really helpful. Only thing is if possible then the college should increase the intake and arrange on campus for students. It will be really helpful for students.

Initial one year was tough. After that it was fun to spend time in college. The sylabus is also good enough. Our univey follows semester sysem. So in every six month we need to apprear for examination.

Since the intake of our college was not much. We need to participate in pool or off campus interviews. I got placed before my final semester. Scholarship was there. I myself got thrice in four years. Two years 100% scholarship and one year 50%.

We had annual fest. Where some fashion show, music events, cultural programs, DJ war used to happeed. Apart from that reunion, sports, tech talk are also conducted. Apart from all these every year there are fresher's welcome and farewell.

Since it is a government college the fees are very minimal. During our time our monthly fees were 1000 rs. Apart from this there were examination fees which were 800 rs. We need to submit the semester fees before the semester session stats.

Sports were there. We have a playground inside our college premises. Apart from that we have a common room where we used to play table tennis, carrom. Computer laboratories are also there. We used to spent lot of time over there.

We used to have reunion every year on 26th January. It is really helpful for networking. Current student get to know about the market condition as well as it will help for their placement too.

Through West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. after getting certain rank, I had to undergo counseling process. Where i need to choose respective college and stream. Depending on the availability. Then I need to go to the respective college and complete the procedure.

Faculties are good and knowledgeable. They used to help us how much they can help. There are also some internal examinations. But the computer laboratories condition was not good enough. I think now the problem got resolved.
