Best Life in college

College is good but needs cooperation of both students and faculties to improve its name and get among yhe top ones.

I went through AIEEE. GOT 15126 ALL INDIA RANK.Selected Chemical Engineering as my stream.My score in AIEEE was 185 marks.

Theoretical aspects more and practicals less. Faculty is not too serious and strict but quite friendly.Open electives were easy from manegemnt subjects like entrepreneuship, human resource management, managerial economics, industrial engineering two days study was quite enough to score good.

I was an intern at IOCL Mathura no stipend offered but a great learning experience there. Knew much about core aspects of chemical engineering like pumps, refineries, petroleum, reaction engineering, etc.

Placements are quite good but you need to have min. CGPA of 7 at least to get allowed to sit in most of the companies it also depends on luck and smart work more than 70% of my batch were placed in total of 80.ITC offered 8.5 lpa paytm offered 8 lpaTCS offered 3.5 lpaHero offered 5.5 lpaInfosys offered 3.25 lpa IBM offered 3.25 lpa Futures first offered 9.5 lpa Trident offered 10 lpa EXL offered 5.5 lpa Delhivery offered 6 lpa(lpa is lakh per annum) .

We have Techniti as our technical fest utkansh as our cultural fest both are good but not the best as IIT's so you just enjoy whats there in your college each of them have some fantastic events to participate like robowars mechatronix etc so you have to choose which one suits you.

Just when I was leaving my college in 2015, we heard the announcement of hiking the academic fees to 200% ie. 70 thousands per semester i was lucky to get through cheaper fees.

No everything the college offered was for sc, st or obc no scholarships for general category still i believe that college must get rid of old ways and get to modern track of doing the things related to tgese matters.

You get much time for sports or other activities as studies are not much trouble so it is even easy to prepare for higher studies or placements gender ratio was 30:70 but a good environment in class i made a lot of friends there from different states and still we are in touch.

This was the only thing were we need improvements whether LAN connection or mess food these were not upto an NIT mark rooms were typically very old in old hostels not a spacious one for two persons but newly built ones are remarkable and have good mess fo

Seniors just always said that the only thing we will miss is the memories we had in the college no matter what it was and now i realized they were right.

No it was a chilled one because we get ample of time before our minors and majors to study just one week study prior to exams is enough to secure good marks.
