Nice college

Positive remarks - infrastructure is good, digital classes, cctv cameras all over the campus. Neat and clean classrooms. The college provides bus for different routes. Negative remarks - for electrical department, attendance wise is strict at least 75% attendance is mandatory.

The syllabus of the course is back dated. As my college is under makaut so i had to give 8th semester 2 semester for each year. Total marks for theory paper is 70 and another 30 marks for practical exams.

Many companies does comes in our college. Everything will depend on you. You are the one who will give the exams and the interview. Companies which had come in our college are capgemini, cognizant, mindtree, mphasis, and many tier 2 companies a d startups.

The college conducts tech fest and cultural fest each year in the month of August. Rest of the years the college conducted seminars on research, drone making etc. And many other seminars on how to crack your interview and tests.

Fee structure will be around 3. 2 lac to 3. 4 for 4 years. No extra charges are taken. Each semester that is every 6 konths you have to pay around 42000 to 44000 rupees. In the fees it includes charges for books which we will get from our libraries for each semester amd you can borrow other books too for your knowledge.

No loans are not provided in our college. But you can definitely can take loan on your own from any bank. There is no scholarship provided in our college. But if your families annual income is below 2. 4 lacs then you ar eligible for TFW scheme provided by government of westbengal. In this scholarship you have to pay only 1200 rupees each semester instead of 40000 rupees.

In our college the infrastructure is very good. The labs are neat and they have all new machines and all are in running condition. Lab assistants are really helpful. Lab happens each day and of you miss any lab for personal problems then you can do that lab at the end of all the labs. For sports we have a large field, a basketball court, a small garden and a cricket pitch.

No i use to travel daily to my college as because my house was not far from my college. But my few friends used to stay in pg or hostel the rent is minimum around 3500 to 4000 including food. But it depends on how near you are to your collge.

Maximum of our seniors are placed in a big MNCs. They are helpful and if you get in touch with them they will explain you guys each and everything in details, hiw to crack the campusing exams for certain companies.

I have got admission in my college by giving an entrance exam. The name of the exam is wbjee. Feom their i got a rank and then after that i applied for different courses in different colleges. Then after three rounds of counselling i got admitted in electrical engineering branch.

The faculty of the electrical department in my college is good, helpful, will help you with everything from studies to projects. The teachers know their thing. Some classes are veru interesting and some classes are boring too. The hod of our department does his part of job correctly and follows each and every rule the university had laid down to follow.
