Remarks

I have never seen this kind of college management. So hygienic, clean, well-groomed grasses.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty helps students to build their careers and also listen to their future plans, what they want to become in their life. Also, the societies that helped students to enhance their knowledge for those who have start-up plans in their mind. Also, students get practical knowledge more.

Top companies come to hire students for the internship as well as provide jobs after the internship.

College Events

Like a good college, they organize an event for the students so that they can enjoy college life, also there are very well concern about the students for the career goals also, they organize seminars for that. Societies hire students for upcoming events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible as its a semi-government college and good in position for management studies. As compared to private colleges the fees are feasible enough also if we compare to government colleges it is pretty much expensive. The mode of payment is only a bank draft for the first year. Other years we had an option for cheque also.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there is no scholarship provided and colleges do not declare or gave an idea to parents that they can pay the fees by taking an education loan.

Campus Life

Campus life is great as it has a ground, a cricket net, football ground. For the health department, it has a clinic that provides emergency treatment, medicine, stretcher for rest. There are lots of competitions held on the campus like inter-college sports matches, inter debate competition.

Alumni/Alumna

Every year our college organizes an alumni date in which passed out seniors visit our college. Refresh their college memories.

Admission

By and entrance called CET in the month of May. The entrance was sponsored by the IPU university for their affiliated university. The management studies were only for the affiliated university. The IPU is for the medical and law studies officially for the main campus that is in Dwarka.

Faculty

The faculty of the college is good and very supportive of all the students. The faculty is passed from top colleges and have years of experience. Also, the heads of departments also introduce seminars from well-experienced faculties passed from iim's. Somewhere these seminars give a boost to those students who have startup plans in their mind

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.

I applied in VIPS through IPU Entrance and I also applied through CLAT and even CLAT scores are acceptable in VIPS. GGSIPU all the colleges I checked out and without a debate Vivekanand School of Legal Studies wins it hands down. Admission through CLAT scores and even IPU entrance scores are accepted.
