Best time of my life

It depends on which aspect you want a remark. As per my experience placements and career wise it's a decent place but as part of enjoyment and entertainment I can rate it two on five. There are not much options for partying and all.

It comes under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of technology. Labs are enough out there but again teaching standards are normal. If you are thinking of research, frankly no or very less scope. But if ur focus is to get a job after ur graduation, you will get ample of opportunity.

Placement opportunities are decent. Ample number of companies visit the campus for the placements. If you have spent even some amount of serious efforts you will definately be placed at the end of the day (tough sometimes destiny plays a great role). There is no such internship opportunity provided by the college but there are multiple training programs conducted for placement purposes.

The most awaited program of every year remains the cultural fest which is conducted every year for 2 days. you will get to enjoy a good concert for sure. Another one is the technical fest organised every year again for two days which will give you exposure to many interesting events.

Fee structure is as per the norms of makaut so you will not feel it different from other colleges as well. you can consider it as 40 K per sem ( academic). Also you gets hostel facility which again is not very expensive (nearly 12-15 K ) per sem.

I don't have any idea about the scholarships but study loans are available from many banks. Even at the time of admissions you will be provided with some options to opt for loan from. I guess Bank of India and ICICI banks are mostly there.

Gender ratio is fine almost 1:3 ( not for mechanical ofcourse) there are no such cultural societies and all. Mostly middle class students are there so no such thing like toleneren with regards to economy. Some music bands emerged every year for sure.

Hostels are available both for boys are girls. Hostels have mostly 2 sharing rooms. Rent is also not very expensive it's only 12 K per sem which you need to pay along with the college fee. Other PG and hostels are also available nearby.

Still have touch with some of my seniors with whome I shared a good bond. Haven't attended any alumnus meet yet. But they are invited on the cultural fest. If you are the alumunus and and you want to enjoy a reuniou you can make that happen during college fest.

U need to appear in this exam called WBJEE. Based on its rank you need to fill the counselling form and choose your college accordingly. you will get shortlisted and will get admission. Rank expected (upto 10000 for cse )

Faculties are well qualified and are indeed focused. But again as of most of the places it has a mixture of both ( some really very very good teachers and some. According to the rules you will have to attend classes regularly. Attandance is really a concern out there.
