My experience at VIT Bhopal University

Positive things are already given above. Now comes the negative remark, the college is not well developed, means it is under construction till date. Although they accupied the 180 acre land, but it will take time to get it developed. The canteen is very small according to the strenght of the students.

Course is well planned according to the use of the students. There is a systematic system for the lab according to the course. Like we have LTP, LT, P type of courses and based on the course the credit are defined. Some labs in the college is well planned but some labs are very annoying, they don't have proper instruments fot the practical. But the facilities are very experienced and of good behavior.

Our university was established in 2017, therefore till now no placements have been done. But VIT bhopal is the branch of VIT, so all the branches have one placement cell, which take care of the placements. Yes, our college provide the internship, they send their students to the main branch i.e, VIT Vellore for the internship for about 6 months.

Our college organizes every kind of event, whichever is possible, there are clubs for each activity which organises the event. Since our college established about 3 years ago, they are trying to organize every event which ever is nessary. We have technical events like hackathon, ethical hacking, gaming and other events.

The fees is feasible as well as expensive, it depends upon the the category in which you have taken the branch. Like for B. Tech we have 5 categories. 1 category have 1.95 lakh fees per annum 2 category have 2.5 lakh rupees fees 3 category have 3 lakh rupees fees 4 category have 4 lakh rupees fees 5 category have 5 lakh rupees fees

The scholarship is given only to those students who have VITEEE rank below 1000. They get scholarship according to their rank. The students who have secured the rank upto 100 get 100% scholarship. And the other students get 50% scholarship. There is a scheme for the students of M.P. who have secured rank upto 3 in their distrits. They get full % scholarship. The college had a tie up with INDIAN BANK for the loan.

Some labs are good and well deloped like computer labs, gaming labs, electrical studio. But some are not upto the mark like physics studio which does not even have proper instruments for the practical. Gender ratio is 60 % boys and 40 % girls which is quite a good ratio. The most important thing there is absolutely 0 % ragging. Means college is ragging free. There is no discrimination between any students.

I am living in a PG, which is 16 km away from the college. I pay about 8 to 8.5 thousand rupees monthly. The Pg is quite good with all the facilities. The electricity comes almost about 24 hours. The water comes once in a two day, for about an hour, which is sufficient. The surrounding area is peaceful and greenery.

Seniors are very cooperative and helpful. As i have already said college is ragging free, so the seniors are like our elder brother. Alumni are not there of VIT BHOPAL, but there are mote than 20000 alumni of VIT institute. They come and tell us about their experience of the VIT, they guide and support us.

There is a exam called VITEEE, through that exam we get the VITEEE rank. After that if you come in the rank criteria, you are called for the admission process. You can go any of the VIT College brank for the admission. After that you select your Branch. This process is done according to your VITEEE rank.

Our college is the first private University to have ?% doctral faculties. Mostly all the facilities are well educated, trained, experienced in their particular corses. All faculties give their 100 % efforts in their course.
