I took IIT JEE mains exam for the enterence in indian school of mines .I scored 2932 rank in IIT JEE mains. I opt for the indian school of mines because it is the only college in india for mining engineering.

Indian school of mines is only the college for persuing mining engineering. I think it is the best college and the faculty were also very co operative they help us in our final year project.

I got a chance to intern with BCCL. This internship was in the field of mining, where I got an opportunity to do research assignment on the mining techniqes. I was offered a stipend of Rs. 50000 per month. The duration of my internship was for 10 weeks.

Around 26 companies including both consultancies and trading companies visit campus for recruitment. Name of Companies visiting campus for recruitment: Companies like Accenture, ANMSoft Technologies, AMDOCS, Canon India Pvt. Srijan is the Annual Cultural Festival of Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. Students from all parts of the country participate with zeal and enthusiasm to win some of the most coveted awards at stake. It is organised every year in the month of March. The festival is not only panorama of events to test the cultural and techno-management skills of youth from all over the country. Still, its harmless enough if youre interested in the novelty of running your own sorority. The female to male ratio is improving (otherwise it is sarcastically spelled as Indian School of Males).The student hostels at ISM are named after precious stones such as Ruby, Sapphire, Diamond, Opal, Emerald, Topaz, Jasper and Amber.

Exams and labs are very frequent and we are having hectic day during exam because we have a lot of pressure on ourself to perform good in exam.
