Remarks
All in all the college is decent. I havent encountered anything i could regard as bad. It'll be even better if they could expand their faculty numbers and introduce more qualified lecturers for their particular subjects.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is average. its just as the same as in MCA i think. also i think they should just let students stick to one programming language but 1st you study C++ then Java then it just kinda makes a mess when a subject js asked to be worked with just C++ and other to be worked with Java. Exams are really good and checking is a bit fair.
Placement Experience
Its interestingly good. Students can even try to give interviews for experience's sake in their 1st year. i havent done it myself though. There are no internships provided by the college itself so obviously no stipend.
College Events
there are lots of events and carnivals celebrated at college, cultural fests, annual functions nad stuff. The student union is responsible for the preparations of these fests. I am not really the party type but these were actually pretty good and students from different colleges are also welcome.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is not that much, what more can you expect from a government college. for bsc hons cs it varied in between 21000-26000 for annual fee for each year. Different courses have different structure but shouldnt vary much.
Fees and Financial Aid
I havent gotten any scholarship or any kind of loan from the college but i just participated in the meeting once. Apparantly the scholarships are available for lower casts kids SC/ST i think. there wasnt any for OBC either afaik.
Campus Life
labs are neat and the playground is big enough for several different games to be played at once. Gender ratio is good it might even be 1:1. a little politics here and there but not that it will bother anyone.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not sure about the alumni thing. Well they do have alumni meetups but i havent been to one yet and prolly wont since its my last semester there. Senior students were all friendly and helpful in early years.
Admission
Well it was easy to get the admission as its just on the 12th percentage basis, so i figured DU is a named university and should be a good place to start. my interest goes with programming and this was just as good as any other.
Faculty
faculties are really good and intelligent. Maybe they are even more intelligent than famed einstein, just saying. A teacher can teach various subjects easy even if they themselves arent that good at it.
